Article: Sick of All the Hate about Moslems? How about Actually Visiting the Moslems Behind the "Ground Zero Mosque"

It is with great sadness, though not surprise, that I watch politicians and media propagandists, in a word, demagogues in our country like Newt Gingrich, Rush Limbaugh, Bryan Fischer, Ron Ramsey, to name a few, spew out the same kind of psychotic ideological venom that such notorious psychopaths in the Nazi Party were infamous for, men like Goebbels, Alfred Rosenberg, Wilhelm Stapel, Hitler himself, to name a few. All you have to do is substitute the words Jew or Judaism for Moslem and Islam in the diatribes they vomit forth to get a truer perspective on what this rhetoric really represents: Fascism and the Fascist instinct, which the author and psychiatrist Wilhelm Reich defined as the impulse to murder given free reign.

This is where this irrational, Dark Side-driven movement will eventually end up if it is not checked now, with our country degenerating into a real fascist dictatorship viciously scapegoating, hunting down and exterminating Moslems by the thousands, for starters, before inevitably turning on us all. The reality we have to wake up fast to is that we are already in full-blown Fascist overdrive outside of America, and have already wrecked tremendous havoc throughout the Moslem world, destroying the lives, homes and livelihoods of millions of Moslems in their own lands. And we know, as well, how it was all built on lies. Irrational Fascist movements always are!

9/11 was the "BLOWN WELL-HEAD" that unleashed massive and entrenched, volcanic hatred for Islam already lurking in the depths of the American psyche, its roots extending as far back as the Catholic Church-driven Crusader mentality of the Middle Ages, and more recently nurtured subconsciously by American pop-culture for decades with sordid B Hollywood movies, novels, even video games that stereotyped and dehumanized Moslems. 9/11 was, in the minds of many, including me, a conscious strategy by the sick and cynical among the powerful and elite in the West to open wide the sluice gates of this subconscious hatred, just as Hitler did when he manipulated the German masses emotionally to build his thousand year Third Reich, founded on the corpses of millions of scapegoats and victims. Massive empire building needs myths and scapegoats, a history lesson not lost on the modern Neocons who still dream of turning our America into their Amerika, a dark, global empire also built on mountains of flesh. For this they need endless rivers of hatred to continue to stoke the fires of war! The world's Moslems have become their "Jews" to feed on.

The anti-Islamic beast is already out there, people, and now it is coming home to roost. This has got to be stopped in its tracks NOW!

The best way to do that is to speak the truth, as always, to confront the lies and the hatred with truth, so in this light, I have inserted a portion of the website below of the very organization building the Islamic Cultural Center, the Cordoba Initiative. You can see it from the horse's mouth what they are all about, and what their supporters say about them, and it is nowhere near what the hate propagandists of the Right are projecting from their own dark psyches.

Note also that Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and the Cordoba team are grounded in the Sufi tradition of Islam, which is as different from the Sunni and Shiite branches as the Quakers are from the Southern Baptists. The core of Sufi teachings is Divine Love for all beings, the same concept that Jesus Christ and the Buddha embraced, so it is doubly absurd to see benighted American politicians charge that they are somehow the New York branch of violent radical Islam.

Sufism, moreover, is the one branch of Islam that, because it eschews violence and teaches tolerance and love, the West can least afford to alienate, so if the demagogues among us even want to burn down these potential bridges to this large and international order, then we will have turned off millions more Moslems, but this time those with the most progressive outlook.
