Introduction

Islam has laid the stones for equity-based society. This became possible when the holy Prophet PBUH declared; nobody is superior to others. All are born equal. Rationally, it was the result of Islamic teachings that the savage nomadic of Arabia became the champion of morality and succeeded in introducing a true welfare-state system where the AMIR was likely to be litigated by everyone who considered his basic rights at stake.

A state where the governors are annually being trialed at the eve of HAJ is a hallmark of an equity-based society. Plausibly, if a balanced, stable and socially justified society is required, the teachings of holy prophet PBUH, the foremost important source of guidance in Islam, are to be enforced.

In the essay, I have explained under the definition aspect, the social justice, the relevant features, the importance and the significant domains that discover the preservation of social justice in a particular culture. Subsequently, I have sought the sayings and teachings of the Holy Prophet PBUH that guides towards how to be socially justified and its subsequent fruits.

In the following part, I have investigated those spectrum that endorse the relevance of social justice for a community. Given the contemporary scenario regarding social justice, I have made plausible rationales and arguments on that unfortunately the Pakistani society in true sense lacks in the implementation of social justice. For the sake of averting these malpractices regarding injustice, brief suggestions have been made in the conclusion.

Definition Aspect of Social Justice

The central theme of the essay can be understood if the definition aspect of social justice will all its pros and cons is scrutinized. Accordingly, social justice consists of two words. Social means connectivity and relations with the fellow human beings. Justice means to respect the moralities and values in the people-to-people relation.

All societies consist of various individuals, differing from each other in social, economic and political entity. Under the said difference, the interaction of individual forms societal norms and makes cultural dealings. According to a source, "Allah, the Al-wise, has created all his creatures with differences when none of them had existed beforehand or had any claim or right. Allah SWT has established a system of life cycle with cause and affect and set a particular line of action for every creature." [1]

Thus, human with different social backgrounds strive to enhance their importance within the society. Each individual, enhancing social worth, influences other's heart and mind and coerces him to react accordingly. In this practice, the survival becomes the most significant objectives that individuals at all level assert to maintain. Peter agrees, "The basic problem to any society is to provide for survival and reproductive needs of its members." [2]

In the competition of survival, the dominant class attempts to maintain its supremacy through certain methods and schemes whereas the dominated working class strives to avoid from being exploited and also makes utmost efforts to seek a life, full of honor. In this competitive trend for respective objectives, the social justice by certain intellectuals is considered pertinent in the survival of a society. Therefore, in accordance with a report published by United Nations Organization, "The social justice emerged as an expression of protest against what was perceived as the capitalist exploitation of labor." [3]

The report also ascertains that social justice is faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the rights of men and women. The most important contribution made in this report is the demarcation of domains that determine the social justice being observed. Accordingly, the social justice ascertains mainly three domains; equity of rights, equity of opportunities and equity of living conditions.
