The most important thing we can do right now

Is to circulate Kucinich's articles of impeachment, or the titles thereof, in letters to the editor.

Just the titles of those articles will be informative: Children jailed by Bush, pre-911 Intelligence repeatedly ignored, conspiring with delibration to falsely connect the dots between 9-11 and Iraq and it's all lies, etc.

Those of us here are aware of all those things, but many people, deprived of a full-disclosure media, are not.

Life and death hang in the balance. A strike on Iran could send YOUR kid to fight for yet another lie. It also could be a strike which invokes, or later leads to, World War III.

I believe that right now is ripe time to make publicity of the impeachable issues a first priority. I myself have taken time off from preparing for some very important matters, in order to get word out: Tell me others don't have time too? Consider perhaps taking a day off work and spending a few hours spreading word, calling Congress, etc. Repeat: Life and death hang in the balance. World War III and martial law could very likely be around the corner, and this is no conjecture. WIth Israeli Radio's announcement of Bush's plans to strike Iran (by this August, am I correct?) the facts bear themselves out in stone.

I think the first thing to do is to submit the titles of Bush's 35 articles of impeachment to the newspapers.

Then to call Congress.

Then write the Judiciary Committee.

Then write chain e-mail letters containing the titles of the articles of impeachment, asking that readers call Congress and pass on the email.

Then to post to blogs, websites, etc.

It may take a few hours, but so much is at stake. Isn't it worth a few hours of our time, every one of us?

Thank you so much, everybody.

This quote summarizes the nature of my concerns and the content of personal experiences which stir my activism: "Necessity is the plea for every infringement on human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves". --Paul (more...)
