So we have come to this dark time and dark place once again. It is both unwholesome and unhealthy to come here, a prurient examination of moldering bones. It is the search for truth without motive and in search of criminals without a thoughtful examination of the crime. A search for principles where there are none and a search for release from a nation's guilty conscience exposed in a firefighter's cough and a widow's tear. There is no justice to be found in reexamining debris and there is no relief to be had in monuments of stone.
The crime is beyond rival, it opened an entire new field of warfare upon the earth. Or as the Roman maxim advises, "Who gains from this?" Did Islamic revolutionaries gain anything from the 9-11 attack? Did this attack in anyway advance their goals? Did the destruction of two Islamic nations and the deaths of mass multitudes of fellow Muslim men, women and children achieve the terrorist's goals?
Or were these the goals of a Neoliberal regime which was stuck on stupid further advanced? The dissolution of freedoms which had survived a civil war, European Fascism and the cold war. Ideals which lie buried now with the bones and beams melted not by kerosene flames but by the darker burning desires of the corrupted heart.
Who gains from this? Did Spanish saboteurs gain anything by destroying the battleship Maine? Or were US foreign policy goals achieved by commencing an unnecessary war with an aging power with the goal of stealing her Pacific empire?
Did North Vietnamese patrol boats fire at US destroyers as claimed or were US foreign policy objectives met by expanding an unpopular war? What would the North Vietnamese have gained by attacking US ships even if inside Vietnamese territorial waters?
Did Saddam Hussein have weapons of mass destruction or did government simply tell the public that he did to frighten them? To use fear as an instrument of foreign policy and an instrument of domestic policy as well, but before this engine of crime and iniquity could commence it needed a fuel, and more importantly, it needed a spark.

Let us then leave off the examination of rivets or nuts and bolts and look instead to the truest connectors and fasteners of the crime because if I say X it can be argued and discounted by Y and so these things, these rivulets of blood at the crime scene tell us of the gore but ignore the truest motivations of the criminals.
Why was the Pentagon attacked? What goal was achieved or hoped to be achieved by attacking the US military headquarters? Was it hoped by the terrorists that they would kill or maim the military leadership? Did they expect that such a strike would cause paralysis throughout the military? Or could it be that without an attack on the Pentagon the US government could not respond will a full military response. Without the attack on the Pentagon this is a civilian crime, committed by civilians against others civilians.
Welcome to the bright lights of a new media dark age of shock and awe. The information age, the misinformation days the disinformation daze. Go ahead; say anything, the transcript can always be altered later. So now a decade has past and the media ghouls and jackals have returned to the scene to dig up the dead for the purpose of spreading new fear and misdirecting blame yet again. To point fingers at the media created enemies in their corrupt bloodlust while they ignore the villains of a government at war with its own people.
Who gains from this? When the stock market crashed in 2007 the banks were reimbursed with $1.7 trillion in free money, money loaned by the Federal Reserve at such low interest rates as to be virtually free. Paid for by the US treasury which in turn means that it will be paid for by the tax payer. How then can the banks repay these "free' loans with their mountains of bad debts and red ink? They will do so by fleecing those same tax payers who so graciously bailed them out. You bailed them out and you get to pay for the privilege"twice.
For their trouble almost eleven million American homes have been foreclosed upon, that is forty five million Americans. American's who have lost their jobs and homes and futures on the myth of free trade, the duplicity of their government and the avarice of Capitalism. The banks are reimbursed and the bonus checks are printed with lots of zeros and you got the bust, the boot and the bill.
The media marauders report record corporate profits in a "jobless recovery" which is neither jobless nor recovering. The new jobs are in Asia and corporate America has invested over a billion dollars in South Korea alone. Because by using third world labor the corporations are able to reap huge profits even on reduced sales thanks to low wages and reduced taxes.
The towers fell, even those towers not struck by aircraft; the first aircraft struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 8:46 but why? Why 8:46? If the intent was to cause maximum damage and maximum causalities then why not attack at 9:46 or 10:46 why would the first tower be struck before most workers had made it to their desks? It is almost as if the terrorist's were trying to mitigate the number of causalities rather than trying maximize them. That doesn't make any sense and is not a question of X or Y but a question of intent. Why would hard hearted, cold blooded killers be so considerate of their most hated enemy?
