In the Internet world we find virtual societies, virtual communities, and virtual worlds in general. The prisoners in a virtual prison are, therefore, not real people but virtual beings. What about virtual prisons full of real beings? Is it possible? The man who presented himself to the Hebrews as Yahweh even changed the name of those who left Egypt to "Israelites" (soldiers of God.) He had already changed the name of Ibruum/Avraam to Abraham (bright shepherd father), and the name of Sarai to Shara/Sara (princess). Since he couldn't speak their language, it seems that he wanted those names to be in his own language! Under their wandering in the desert the Israelites were exposed to every kind of manipulations, mind control, punishments, threats, and very detailed instructions concerning every aspect of life. The plethora of precise instructions, like, the brother of the brother who died must marry the dead brother's widow, or, you shall not delay to offer [to me] the first of your fruits and of your liquors, were to create a social environment, the limits of which were defined by Yahweh. The truth could be found only inside that environment. The people were manipulated to believe that they belonged to a special group, a group chosen by God. The group was always right. Any disobeyers had to be punished, either by God or by his representatives.
You could stop reading here if you think that other people may be under the influence of mind control, but not you. On the other hand, it would be most foolish, since learning about the subject is the only way to become less vulnerable. It's the only way to be free from the mental bondage you don't even think about. The reason is, according to several scientific theories, that a person under mind control doesn’t think it's possible to have a positive future outside the group. Reading about mind control, one could easily get the idea that mind control is something new, associated with the Nazis, the CIA, or the Soviet Union. Mind control is much older than that. In fact, it's as old as mankind. The first who exercised mind control was the Sumerian god Enlil, who later became the god Yahweh of the Jews. The Jews were under the totalitarian control of Yahweh and his messengers. I am your only God. They were not allowed to do anything that could be against the instructions of Yahweh. The instructions created thus an effective mind control dominating a whole people. They had to act according to rules that created a virtual prison. This virtual prison didn't need to be recreated for every new generation. It could easily be inherited. It became kind of automated continuation! I am the god of Abraham, the god of your fathers, he said. The silence of ordinary people strengthened the power of the rules. The fear for punishment strengthened the silence.
Emperor Constantine forced those rules, now under the administration of Christianity, on all the citizens of the Roman Empire. The punishment for refusing to convert to Christianity was death! Worshipers of other gods must put to death. The rest is history, or more correctly, the history of mind control! The Jewish virtual prison has been taken over by the Christians. We too, are born and live our lives inside that prison. For continuity reasons, we pass it down to our children as a heritage. The group, in this case, Christianity demands perfection. Any divergence from the rules must lead to confession and punishment. The group is not responsible, only the individual. We are told that there is no truth outside the group. Virtual prisons are, at least, as safe as physical prisons! In the Middle East another group, the Palestinians, are living inside their own virtual prison. The soldiers of God (the Israelites), and the soldiers of Allah (the Palestinians) are fighting each other in order to defend the rules of their virtual prisons. Two virtual prisons created by the same God! Irrespective of what we think about this god, we must confess that he is an expert in exercising scientific mind control! If you never thought that you have been manipulated to live in a virtual prison, or if you thought about it, but are afraid to admit it because of fear for punishment, don't be too hard to yourself. Remember that Yahweh and his messengers were aliens with very advanced science and technology. Also remember that our ancestors who became victims of his manipulations were ordinary, rather uneducated people. But what about philosophers and other well educated people who refused to be brainwashed? Yahweh and Emperor Constantine (and many other emperors after him) had an effective solution for them. They killed them! They destroyed philosophy and knowledge so that no return was possible. They replaced our heritage with a prison!
