There are still people who consider that this world has to vanish according to them. This is the desire of powerful people. But they forget one thing--that this world has been created by God the Great and He is running its affairs. World affairs are being run according to the wishes of people. If majority of people want that there will be war, death and destruction--then there will certainly be death and destruction.
There was a time when Americans voted George W. Bush into power, because at that time majority of people were in favour of war. But now the situation has changed. This time Americans voted Barack Obama into power, as now the majority of people want peace.
I think democracy is the best form of government in the world. The people have the right to decide their affairs. This right has been given to them by God the Great.
Now, the Americans have used the right given to them by God the Great. They have used their votes in favour of peace. They have proved to the world that there is no restriction on anyone to reach the highest position. They have chosen a person, where none of his relatives were the ruler of the world.
I think there is no reason for us to suspect that Barack Obama will fail in restoring order in the world. There is no denying the fact that this will be uphill task for Obama to clear the mess created by George W. Bush--but he can do this. Millions of people have been praying for the success of Obama as they think he can bring change. At least he has the desire for a change, a better change. He will succeed in overcoming the economic problem in the United States and build the confidence of the people.
Pakistan will remain the focus point in the days to come as there was a time when this country has almost taken over by the terrorists. There will be no denying the fact that Al-Qaeda has bases in Pakistan. Whether the people accept it or not, Al-Qaeda is still a threat to the whole world.
According to the tribal elders, there will be change in the war on terror now. The main reason for terrorism is rampant corruption. If Obama succeeds in hitting corruption, then there is bright chance of winning this war on terror. Through use of force--this problem cannot be solved. There should be an awareness campaign in tribal areas situated on Pak-Afghan border. This is the only way of winning this war on terror. This time the people of tribal areas will fully cooperate with the new US administration.
