Welcome To Slaughterhouse 5"Or Bay Medical Center of Panama City if you wish to delude your self"

Since Bay Medical Center here in Panama City has been going in the direction of "for profit" under the cover of darkness, and without fanfare for some time now; they have decided to push the envelope of conspiracy to commit homicide even further. The medical community of Bay County is no longer satisfied with just a "Medical Apartheid", that separates the have's from the have-not's. With the help of the Bay county Health Department (a tax payer funded outfit) all indigent, uninsured, poor, and working poor should now visit the department of health for their denials of treatment instead of the "new Bay Medical Center" Emergency Room in Panama City Florida.

For years Bay Medical Center has been playing the game of providing minimal care for the indigent or poor sick people of Bay County by basic stabilization, and then a kick out the door with a referral to a doctor who will not see them, because they are uninsured and broke. Now it seems Bay Medical Center and the Florida government is not satisfied with that maniacal, mercenary practice, because it has lead to some negative press for Bay Medical as the truth slowly oozed out of this puss drenched organ of murder for hire. The solution? Now Bay Medical Center's water will be carried by the Bay County Health Department.

According to the lady I spoke to named Sophia from the "Bay County Department of Health", the health department will for a sliding fee see patients, but will not treat them. The health department will act as a data and statistical information collection service and a referral service for "patients" in need of medical help. In a nutshell the department will take the heat off of Bay Medical by interceding with Florida's walking wounded and walking nearly dead by tunneling these useless eaters into the black-hole of the referral process.

How it currently works. A sick person goes to the E.R., then gets referred to the public health department, who then refers the sick person to a "specialist", who then finds out the patient has no means to pay the "care giver", who then says to the patient "goodbye and have a nice day"praise Jesus and amen. Then the sick patents stay in that loop until they drop dead or drown in their own bodily fluids. The new method of bypassing the "new Bay Medical Center" Emergency Room would divert all negative attention off of Bay Medical Center and place it squarely on the backs of the tax payers and of course creating yet another government program intentionally broken from it's inception. This in kind gives the right-wing Teabagger types yet another failed government program to point to every election cycle..

There is a word, an accurate word that can describe Bay Medical Center's, and Bay County's new relationship. That word is a German word. The word is schrecklichkeit. However the even more frightful word, the word that accurately describes the practice of running sick people ragged until they drop dead is pronounced Genocide. And make no mistake, this is exactly what the state government of Florida and the Florida medical services and providers of the state have embarked upon. The architects and actors of this crime are without remorse and conscience and with intentional malice in active collusion to commit and are carrying out targeted murder by stealth, and conspiracy on a targeted group of people for the soul purpose of this group of persons being eliminated based on a specific prejudice and reason. That reason is they are poor and sick and without means to provide for themselves. Thus in the point of view of the aforementioned powers as enumerated Bay County's uninsured poor are a burden to be eliminated from Florida society as a whole using denial of medical care as the vehicle, indeed the weapon of premeditated murder of choice. Since this is the case and it can not be denied with any skilled lie from any professional liar, your humble reporter has come up with a workable solution/compromise so the well off and the powers that be can still have their cake and eat it to. It is this :

We the poor should be allowed to receive medical care by the veterinary doctors community; if it's good enough for my dog or cat it's good enough for me. We have the right to some modicum of health care when we Americans are sick or injured. Real care, not "referrals" to those who will not see us until we die of our illness. If a pet can receive modern healthcare, then I think I should have a right at my own choosing to let that same veterinarian take care of me at my own risk. Who knows I just might get better. The choice is between no healthcare, or a semblance of stabilization by Bay Medical center or a real possibility of a cure or long term treatment that can be administered by the areas veterinary doctors for a fraction of the price.

Lets face it. These people who run Florida, the Bay Medical Center and those who claim to be healthcare providers don't see we the uninsured or poverty stricken as human beings any more and haven't for some years now. So why not let the area veterinary establishment help us at the same price they would charge for the equivalent treatment for a dog or a cat. What would be the harm or the concern from those who once pledged to do no harm to those of us who they will not do any thing for, but prescribe lies and death through willful, prolonged negligence?

So I'm pleading with our "sainted, loving, medical and government homicidal maniacs" to please legalize veterinary services for the poor, workers and the uninsured now! And for those who worry this might be some "real free market competition"? Don't worry Bay Medical Center and company. It will not be since your stock in trade for those without cash or insurance is no shoes, no insurance, no cash no service. Think of it as a win, win for all of you and a tiny, undeserved kindness for we "useless eaters." Come on Florida, get behind this one for the Home team!

Some call me panamarick, others call me Dad or just plain Rick. I'm a chronically ill, uninsured 56 year old man living in Panama City Florida doing daily battle with our Prince of Darkness run Florida healthcare system. I'm also a political (more...)
