Why I think Al Qaeda and the radical Israeli settlers and their camp are the same
It seems to me that there is similarity between Al Qaeda terrorist organization and the Israeli West Bank settlers and their supporters. Why I think so?
Both want to change the world order, based on old religious beliefs. Al Qaeda wants to go back centuries in history to restore the Caliph system where there one Islamic country bordering china in the east and bordering Spain in the west.
The Israeli radicals, who support settlements in the West Bank, oppose the rest of the of the world community who insist that Israel must implement UN resolutions 242 and 338 which call for immediate and complete withdrawal from Palestinian land taken by force in June 1967( East Jerusalem, West Bank and Gaza ), also based their claims on centuries-old religious belief.
Just as the world united in fighting Al Qaeda who is considered as a danger to world peace and security, the world must unite against Israeli radicals who oppose peace and prolong the suffering of both Palestinians and Israelis. Peace in the Middle East is a desire to all world leaders and nations, because it will mean the end of many radical and terrorist organizations whose fuel is lack of peace and Israel's occupation of Palestinian land and people.
The recent book gift given to President Obama by the current Israeli prime minister, Netanyahu, and Netanyahu's comments after his recent visit to the US, indicate that all dictionaries in the world and all languages in the world and all books in the world will never be able to hide UN resolutions 242 and 338.
Considering the firm stand indicated by president Obama and his State Department Secretary, Clinton, on the issue of settlements in the West Bank, one indeed wonders what else those Israeli radicals betting on? One possibility is that they will play with time until president Obama's term in the White House is over, hoping for another president who may continue the Israel-appeasement policy at the expense of the US interest.
This is likely to be the case, which means we are in for another four years of Israeli reliance on books, dictionaries, vocabulary and history to buy time and hope the world will forget about UN 242 and UN 338. This good news for other radicals (radicals feed radicals). With Netanyahu in charge of the Orchestra, it is time for Hezbolla, Hamas and Iran to dance.
