Yesterday, the Yes on 89 campaign began running a new television ad. The ad illustrates one of the biggest problems with the enormous amount of money spent in campaign seasons-the pounding we take from all of the well-spun, well-funded political ads that flood our airwaves intended to distort fact and blend it with fiction all courtesy of deep-pocketed special interests. Here are two things you can do right now that will help us ensure that this ad is seen by as many people as possible.
Tell your friends and family to pass the ad on to people they know in California. Almost one in ten voters lives in the state. Use your network to get this message to as many Californians as possible.
Make a contribution to the 89 Now campaign. Every dollar helps. Please consider making a gift to the campaign.
Clean Elections are about ideas and not big bank accounts. If passed, California's politicians will spend more time talking to voters with no courting of-or counting on-big money special interests and their bottomless pockets.
We have a tough fight but if we stand together we can help Californians pass Proposition 89.
