WHERE: Old City Hall, 2134 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, front lawn (at Allston Way, 4 blocks from the Downtown Berkeley BART)

CodePINK is calling on all Peace-Loving folks to come to our EMERGENCY 24-hour Peace-IN Vigil to support Berkeley City Council's stand for peace. And to protect our town from the onslaught of pro-war forces!

WHEN: Feb 11th, Monday, 7:00pm until 7:00pm, Tuesday, Feb 12th - Come for 24 hours - or 2 hours! Just BE THERE! And stay for the Council Meeting at 7:00pm on Tuesday ~ will you be one of the 100 peace-supporters to sit in the meeting with us? Show up at 5 pm to get a seat!

WHERE: Maudelle Shirek City Hall, 2134 MLK, Jr Way, Berkeley, on the front lawn. Bring your sleeping bags, tents, peace signs, boon boxes, musical instruments, dancing shoes! And your sign & banner making supplies!

WHY: Alll peace-loving folks must support our City Council and our City against the right-wing pro-war and fundamentalist attack planned for 5:00am Tuesday morning.

Please BE THERE, if you can, at the Mobilizing and Peace-keeping Meeting Sunday morning, Feb 10th 9:00am - 10:30am at Cafe Leila, 1724 San Pablo Ave., Berkeley. (8:30 if you want to get breakfast!) We'll carpool to the Golden Gate Bridge Walk 12:00noon!

Together we WILL SHUT DOWN military recruiting in Berkeley! and across the nation!
