Florida, Clint Curtis trounced a well-funded and well known opponent in a
landslide election. The final results showed Curtis winning 61-39 percent in
another race where the netroots and grassroots made the difference. For almost
two years, VelvetRevolution.us, a coalition of over 140 orgs reaching millions
of people, has been reporting on Curtis' election reform work and Curtis has
become a darling of citizens who want change.
By choosing Curtis, the voters in Florida Congressional District 24 have
demonstrated that they want clean government and clean elections. The next step
for them will be to tell the incumbent Tom Feeney that they are not going to
take corruption as usual anymore.
Feeney has been named by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington as
the third most corrupt member of Congress.

Feeney and federal disclosure of his corrupt ties with Abramoff. The voters of
Florida 24 have a right to know, prior to November, what Abramoff has been
