Dominionists believe they are the elect and can do no wrong; hence their tolerance of Bush's egregious wrongdoing. This is further explained in a brilliant, must-read essay by Katherine Yurica, one paragraph of which says:

The Puritans were rigid Calvinists, and believed that they were superior to Indians. This belief gave them license to cheat, betray and slaughter the very Indians who befriended them, and who shared the first Thanksgiving with them. The righteousness of the last 3 American presidents as they slaughtered hundreds of thousands of Iraqis is along the same lines- we're Christian and they are not, so we must be right and they must be wrong. Of course, the Muslims of the ummah- the worldwide body of Islam, think the mirror image.
All of this is contrary to the teaching of the one true God, who is God of all the nations. All peoples worship Him/Her, though by different names and with different traditions. The prophet Malachi explained it thus:

Like us, Muslims in Iraq, Iran, Syria, and other target countries of American aggression worship the God of Abraham. God's covenant with Abraham gave the planet to them as well as to us. Bush and his advisers apply a different set of laws to Muslims- it's ok to invade their countries, kill and torture their people, steal their resources. The priests of "elect" theology violate the covenant, and they will be cursed.
This understanding must pervade America, and we must reject "elect" theology. We must embrace liberation theology, which enables us to embrace all pathways to the divine. (See The Way of Holiness by Robert Mendelson www.armageddonoftheego.org )
Believers in the one true God know that He is God of ALL the nations, and applies the same standard of justice to all. Bush and his "elect" have made the US a rogue nation, an outlaw nation.
The curse will not be lifted from America until we impeach the figurehead, George W. Bush, and bring ham and the other war criminals to justice. We must put a government in place which will bring America back into the council of nations as an equal among equals. We must rejoin the International Criminal Court and submit to international law. Then there will be peace on earth.
If we do not push, now, until we impeach the president, see the other high officials indicted, and bring them to justice, America will suffer a terrible fate.
