Many scriptures prophesy the return of the Prince of Peace, and say that He will bring about an era of peace and harmony on planet earth. This can only happen if all religions and spiritual traditions agree on His/Her nature and goals, and stop acting as if they are at odds and must fight with one another. Muslims, Jews, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, native peoples- all yearn for peace, harmony and sanity on this small planet.
Bush has tried to claim the mantle of the Prince of Peace at times, as when he quoted Isaiah during his infamous landing on the aircraft carrier. Even now he pretends to be bringing peace and democracy to Iraq. We'll see what he says in his speech tonight.

save the children of the poor.
Justice shall flower in his days,
and profound peace, till the moon be no more.
May he rule from sea to sea,
and from the River to the ends of the earth.
This hardly fits the Bush regime, which has made the afflicted and poor more vulnerable than ever to poverty, illness and imprisonment on minor charges. Justice is a joke in America and Iraq, and Bush the warmonger is still riding high. Wake up, you Christian sheepies who still support him, and see the truth!
