The Wal-Mart Declaration

We live under the thumb of a mad mad man, murderous, wantonly barbaric without any redeeming faculties. Claiming on the one hand to have the ear of God while attempting with his other hand to play God.

To openly defy courts and their orders choosing instead to work in secret behind the backs of the American people because face it, you don’t matter any more. The king will have no truce or parley with the likes of you. Republican politicians in the slow learners wing of the party are beginning to see the dawn Senator Richard Lugers speech advocating the President turn back from the bloody surge campaign was met with total silence.

The fortress White House cares no more about Luger’s opinion than Stalin cared about the Ukrainians diets. Luger shouldn’t feel put upon by the administration its cold shoulder is only one of the many. The hallmark of all dictatorships is ignoring any voices that disagree and provided they gain no traction it is the most cost-effective strategy. The lessons not learned by the Shah of Iran or Ferdinand Marcos are dictums etched in stone, as paranoia is also an essential element for a successful dictatorship.

But then again why should fortress White House care about one little Senators opinion? Congressman of both parties, by not impeaching the President and Vice President have reduced themselves to insignificance. No more than a rubber stamp duma or Reich’s parliament or Soviet commissariat just like Al Capone in Chicago, was he afraid of the police? The police were reduced to pimps and his handmaidens in his criminal enterprise.

The courts stacked with idealogs who are couched in the perverse religious ethos that you only deserve the justice you can pay for. Continue chipping away at the altars of American jurisprudence until all that’s left is a statue of our dear leader and it’s slogans.

There is a special place in hell reserved for the media, to mutate from an organ of public information and good government to become a cancer on the body politic. Sold like chattel in the marketplace they sing the familiar sirens song, Just following orders my Komandant. Indoctrinated into the group think of their own special importance, just as house slaves thought themselves superior to field slaves or a high priced call girl thinks herself superior to a street corner hooker. The media darlings think that their proximity to the prominent some how makes them prominent. That because they seek the opinions of the important then some how their own opinions must be important as well.

But the elite media are paid millions, not for what they do or for what they know but to make them part of the world that they are to protect. Just as Henry Ford once paid his workers five dollars a day so that they could afford to purchase the cars they produced. The network anchors live as potentates, with assistants and limo's and catered lunches with no contact with anyone outside that world who doesn’t own summer homes or jets away to Europe. Living in an inverted existence as a reporter whose job depends not on what they report but on what they don’t report.

A recent headline is case in point, "Venezuelan Oil Industry To Lose 4.5 Billion Dollars." The reported loss was the refusal of Conoco and Amoco to come to terms with the Venezuelan government over oil wells in the Orenico belt. The two American companies will be paid 4.5 billion in compensation. Venezuela retains 100% possession of oil wells in what has been forecast as possibly the richest oil deposits left on the planet. Would you as an independent observer call that a loss? When you bought your house or your car did you consider that a loss?

The story was a lie on it’s face, Venezuela lost nothing they purchased assets. But the purpose was not to inform but to mislead. No different then the Soviet Pravda or the Voelkischer Beobachter of Nazi lore and if the jack boots fit, wear them. The lobbyist on K Street conference with Fortress White House in doling out government patronage jobs. While Grover Norquist holds his weekly Wednesday morning press meeting to pass out the agenda and define the talking points, the do’s and don’ts so that the sheep will know what to bleat on command. No different than Joseph Goebbels seventy years before the media is instructed on what is news or what is acceptable news.

Congress has failed us, not just a failure of party but a failure of institution. A massive failure unprecedented in our history either through detachment or self-interest or incompetence they have turned us over to the dictatorship of a madman.

The question of whether George Bush will step down when his term expires is a pointless one. The old Caesar merely passes on to the new Caesar, the die is cast the next administration won’t automatically revert to the good old days. The precedents have been set and the foundations laid the K Street lobbies have no plans to move out in 2008. With out the corrective action of the people the next election won’t bring us a better one just another one. The bourgeoisie does not possess a single creative idea for the future of this nation.

On the contrary, they own healthcare company’s they see nothing to fix. They import the foreign goods and outsource jobs why would they want to fix that! They employ the illegals, why would they want to deport them! They like the way things are going, wage stagnation is a good thing it helps their stock portfolios. They have every weapon in the arsenal to defeat us save one, numbers.

People have asked, "Well then what’s the answer?" The answer is civil disobedience the same answer that brought down the Shah and Marcos and ran the British from India and ended Jim Crow in the south. There are only two sides here there is no neutral quarter, to remain quiet is to be a good Nazi.

The mask is slipping from the face of the demon, either resist or accept that you are no more, no better or worse than the servants of Pilate. That you acquiesce to the crucifixion of innocents for the appeasement of the wealthy and powerful. You accept that your children should have less so that the wealthy can have more. You understand that we shall be perpetually a war as our planet degrades into environmental unliveablity and that our great grandchildren will curse our names and call us lazy bastards.
