The twenty buck solution

We would live in a completely different world, a world without an Iraq war, a world without hundreds of thousands of innocent people killed, a world without almost 4000 soldiers killed and tens of thousands wounded, a world without hundreds of billions spent for nothing, and most importantly, a world without George Bush as president, but for one thing.  We would live in that world if only George Bush had gotten a blowjob.  That's all it would take.  We came that close to getting rid of George Bush and ending our national nightmare.  Such a small thing that would have made such a big difference.

But, to the hard-right, hypocritical, homophobic Republican "family values' that destroyed Larry Craig, that small thing is the only, the biggest thing.  I had a conversation with a neighbor that illustrates the point.  She was telling me about what a wonderful man George Bush is and how much better he is than Clinton was as president.

Me:  You realize that George Bush has killed several hundred thousand innocent people for no reason.

Her:  But, Bill Clinton got a blowjob.

Me:  You realize that George Bush has killed almost 4000 soldiers and wounded tens of thousands to no purpose.

Her:  But, Bill Clinton got a blowjob.

Me:  You realize that George Bush has wasted several hundred billion dollars to no effect.

Her:  But, Bill Clinton got a blowjob.

Her side of the conversation is repeated verbatim.  It went on like that, with her stuck in mindless, malicious immorality, unreachable by logic, reason or facts.  Her Republican horror at a very ordinary, very common sexual act overrides any consideration of the fact that George Bush is a mass murderer.  She made it very clear that getting a blowjob is at the top of the list of crimes, above any other.  Above lying, cheating, stealing and murder.  To Republicans, the only thing that they will reject a politician for, be they Republican or Democrat, is getting a blowjob, be it homo or heterosexual.

The hypocrisy of the Republicans who preach family values and secretly engage in sex that is the opposite of what they preach is not a factor in their rejection when caught.  Hypocrisy is so ingrained in the Republican psyche that it's accepted as normal.  It's not the hypocrisy they object to, it's getting caught doing the things that make them a hypocrite.  Notice that it was the Republicans who blew a gasket and turned wrong-side-out in outrage when fellow Republican Craig was caught.

The rest of us look at it differently.  We place mass murder, violating the constitution, looting the treasury, using a faked war to enrich the companies they receive a salary from at the top of the list of crimes that a politician should be removed for.  Getting a blowjob is somewhere down at the bottom of the list, and it's not even on my list.  But, it's the best weapon we have for removing George Bush because the Republicans will be the first to make the most and best use of it.  That's all it will take to remove George Bush.  An act that only takes a few minutes.  We're that close to ending it.  Just think, we're only minutes away from bringing the whole Bush regime to an end.  And besides, blowjobs are inexpensive.  I understand that the going rate is only about twenty bucks.  Compare that to about three billion a week saved for the next 16 months.  I'll put up the twenty bucks if anyone can figure out how to get it done.

Let's give up trying for impeachment which only the democrats will vote for, anyway.  We must concentrate all our efforts on getting George Bush a blowjob, and the Republicans will have him out of office the next day.  Lots of huffing and puffing and moral outrage.  They'll do our job for us.  Guaranteed.  Look at what happened to Larry Craig.  Works every time.
