God works in mysterious ways. I often think he has a perverse sense of humor considering some of the people he chooses to carry forth his most important messages to humanity; A fat, angry lesbian to finally inform 30 million American people that George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, and their fascist pals planned 911 and murdered their own people to effect all the war –and profits- we’ve seen over the past 6 years? It almost reminds me of his choosing a carpenter who sleeps on people’s floors and hangs around with hookers claiming to be the Messiah, to spread truth. Funny how the first people willing to believe that now, are some of the last people willing to believe the truth today isn’t it. There are some miracles –however-, I just can’t buy into; A perfectly good office building never suffering structural damage suddenly collapsing into it’s own foot print is one of them. Call me a skeptic. And call it “much too convenient” for some very bad people while you’re at it.
Rosie –of course- is absolutely right. But more than right, she’s courageous beyond measure. America’s fascist media sycophants are absolutely melting down over this; Bill O’Reilly has spent more than a week trotting on any D-list guest he can get to agree she’s insane and ought to be fired, and that anyone who tolerates her has “lost it”. Serial domestic abuser, drug addict, alcoholic, occasional street person (and now married but celibate religious whacko) Danny Bonaduce seems to have agreed (was he offered a bath and money?) and actually called for the death penalty for her words. Of course it’s been transparently pathetic; nothing but an ad-hominem personal assault utterly devoid of anything other than unsupported denials and vicious personal insults.
Like the Dixie Chicks, I’m pretty sure Rosie is battling forces which will eventually actually threaten her life if she keeps going. Unlike the Dixie Chicks –however-, there has been no back-peddling and Rosie’s accusations have been direct, unvarnished, and they are much more than an expression of opinion. She has dared to allege the crime of the century and name names; to strike directly at them with the accusation of high treason and 3,000 plus counts of premeditated murder. As with the Mafia, People who frighten this administration, who talk too much, or who get in it’s way have a funny way of waking up dead for their efforts. Ask U.K. weapons inspector David Kelly. You can’t because he’s dead; he “committed suicide”…after writing that people were following him who wanted him dead. He slit his wrists and bled to death in a field on dry land. It was some kind of miracle being a medical impossibility –you can only bleed to death from this if you’re immersed in water and remain so-. But I digress.
Rosie needs to be very careful. She has children. I have no doubt that she’s going to end up being fired, but that could be the least of her worries. Going to work every day for a Bush supporting major corporation and telling the truth to 30 million Americans about the murdering organized crime gang running their country is almost certainly going to have consequences. I’m betting that within the next two weeks, you’ll see one of the following things, in order of likelihood:
Rosie will issue an apology and claim she was wrong….
Or Rosie will simply have a heart attack and die. “She was overweight after all”.
Just understand in advance that any one of these things, should it happen, will have a hidden cause, which anyone with half a clue can rightly and immediately guess; that her life, or the life of her children was materially threatened for speaking out, or that someone “bumped into her”…..with a hypodermic needle.
The prerequisite personal crucifixion is already underway, it’s only a question of whether she’ll live.
Bill O’Reilly has already suggested that people who accuse this government of what is now pretty obvious, should actually be imprisoned. I hope Bill shuts up. It’s a damn shame he feels no need to fear his own lies. Rosie should invite him onto “The View”, or better yet, challenge him to a debate on neutral ground with formal rules and a moderator. I don’t know how smart Rosie is, or how much she knows, but we all know how smart O’Reilly isn’t and how much he doesn’t know. That’s being charitable in the extreme; I think he knows. That just makes him a goddamned professional liar doesn’t it. He'd never show.
I hope the few other celebrities (Charlie Sheen hasn’t been heard from of late has he) who’ve spoken out will stand with her. I think one hell of a lot of people in Hollywood know the score and won’t touch it with a ten foot pole. Rosie’s going to need all the friends she can get and there is strength in numbers. I hope she will take her fight to the end and tell us when she’s threatened. God bless the "fat angry lesbian", she told the truth. Get it while you still can.
