Here's a video crash course on election fraud for those of you who are waking up to the fact of election fraud but can't find anything in the mainstream press. (Link to video below)
Professor Steven Freeman of the University of Pennsylvania, author of Was the 2004 Presidential Election Stolen?, spoke before the National Latino Congreso in Los Angeles last week and laid it all out quite clearly and succinctly.
A few highlights of his talk:
"You and we are in the process of losing the right to vote, and along with it, all our other rights."
"Elections can be stolen, have been stolen, and will continue to be stolen."
Programmers can now change literally millions of votes by simply changing two lines (out of millions of lines of code). They can instruct the program to delete those two lines afterwards without leaving a trace.
When you vote on a computerized election machine, your vote enters the machine and no one knows where it goes or what happens to it. The software is proprietary, meaning it is secret. The voting process cannot be independently observed by citizens nor can it be meaningfully monitored by anyone.
When our country is compared to other democracies by the yardstick laid out in the Copenhagen Agreement of 1990, we fall embarrassingly short. Criteria such as equality, fairness, secret ballot and transparency were evaluated. If we examine the first criterion - equality - we will see that we ranked 139th. This is based on numerous factors, among them: no representation in the District of Columbia, the fact that Hispanics are three times as likely nationwide to have their votes spoiled (and 80 times more likely in New Mexico). The rest of the picture isn't any better.
"If you care about anything, you have to care about voting." Without the ability to remove our public servants from office, they have no need to be accountable and the foundation of our democratic system is a sham.
Freeman calls our elections nothing but political theatre - with no bearing on reality.
His recommendations:
1. Be skeptical, be smart
2. Learn the facts: election fraud and election theft are not merely hypothetical, as some would have you believe. This election system is designed for fraud. How else would you explain that Diebold, a major manufacturer of ATM banking machines opposed the notion of printed records and forgot how to make them.
My suggestion: Go beyond the mainstream press to get the real story. Read BradBlog, BlackBoxVoting.org, OpEdNews or many other of the good alternative news sources.
3. Fight back: Watch this video, begin to ask questions, share it with your friends. Spread the word. Look further into the issue of election fraud and what has happened to our elections. Bring yourself up to speed on the subject. Get mad. Get active.
