For those seeking a Ross Perot/Ralph Nader need, Ron Paul looks to be the new Messiah for our post-Bush future. First off, he is completely devoid of any possibility of winning an election, even if he does have an army of loyal internet followers. Of course, this starry-eyed idealism about Ron Paul is born of desperation on the part of a lot of frustrated cons who have lost their knight in gleaming armor, George W. Bush. and are now in the market for a new fuehrer to lead them to the promised land.
Of course, to make him out to be “the one” you will have to avoid talking about the fact that Ron Paul has a lot of little discussed skeletons in his closet.
Let me start by saying Ron Paul is a racist. There is just no way around that fact. Ron Paul used to write a newsletter back in the '80s and '90s called the Ron Paul Political Report. The name was changed to the Ron Paul Survival Report in 1993 due to the fact that the newsletter was becoming so popular with the many militia groups around the country. It was around that time that that the David Koresh types and the “survivalist movement” was in.
The Ron Paul Political Report had around 7,000 subscribers and was eight pages long. The mainstream media can’t seem to find a copy of the newsletter because it was largely only sent to nut jobs. Ron Paul still has copies, though, however he refuses to make them public because of the horrifying words contained in those pages. One of his supporters did post a copy of a newsletter to a newsgroup in 1993. A reprint of the article entitled “Los Angeles Racial Terrorism” can be seen in a reprint of a public archive text of his racist remarks.

Of course, Paul has distanced himself from his own newsletter.. He now claims he did not write it. It just had his name at the top. So, either he’s incompetent or he is a racist.
Paul, like Dubya, chooses to be incompetent rather than be caught in wrongdoing.
A campaign spokesman for Paul tacitly admitted (when justifying Paul’s right to say such things) that Paul did make these statements about the black males but that they actually just mirror pronouncements made by black leaders such as the Rev. Jesse Jackson, who himself has decried the spread of urban crime.
So Paul whitewashers stop trying to say he didn’t write these things. His current attempts to distance himself from a newsletter written in his name and representing his views are pathetic and evidence of his dishonesty.. The dude was/is a racist. Not surprising when you realize he is comes from a very racist state.
Paul also keeps company with the good folks at the Council of Conservative Citizens with their radio show called The Political Cesspool . If you look at the names of folks who have dropped by the studio, you’ll find Ron Paul’s name listed alongside Prussian Blue. In case you don’t know who Prussian Blue is, they are a couple of adolescent teenage girls who sing about how horrible black people are.
Ron also likes to hang out with secessionists. In April 1995 he was an honored guest at one of their conferences. And then just over three years ago Paul was an honored guest at a John Birch Society dinner. Ron Paul also attended the Libertarian-Patriot Banquet on April 2, 2004. There is a picture of him there with Robert Clarkson, leader of The Carolina Patriots and The Patriot Network. Good company!
David Duke also keeps putting Ron’s articles up on his website. And then of course there’s the racist website Stormfront. They adore Ron Paul and recently posed the question, "Is Ron Paul The One?" Contributors think apparently that Paul would collapse the Jewish infrastructure in this country (is RP an anti-semite?), shut down Mexican border with NO amnesty and he would look out for White America. But, wait, RP supporters say, he can’t help it if these people support him.’ Oh really? He hasn’t plainly disassociated himself from these vermin and that says a lot about the kind of person he is.
And then there’s Ron Paul’s libertarian beliefs. OH JOY! That means he, along with other libertarians, would like the USA to go back to the post–Civil War era in terms of government regulation and management of public safety. Ron Paul would like to get rid of the Environmental Protection Agency, Social Security, Medicare, the Department of Energy, the Federal Reserve, the IRS, aid to foreign nations, and the Department of Education as well as remove the US from the United Nations so we could have no friends to help us or influence anywhere… and NATO wouldn’t help us against terrorists.. Man, that would be so great. Maybe we could get rid of everyone’s cars and we could ride around on horse carts Also go back to the days of dying of cholera at age 30 because of no government provided or regulated health care. Lunatic Libertarians hold onto these stupid ideas because they cannot grasp the complexities of being part of anything outside their own egos. .
Let Paul speak for himself.
On Hurricane Katrina he said that bailing out people that chose to live on the coastline is not a proper function of the federal government. He asked things like “why do people in Arizona have to be robbed in order to support the people on the coast?”
Awwwww don’t da little baby don’t want them to take him money? Why do he accept a salary as congressman then? He takin’ my money for that! I don’t live in Texas, why should I pay it? Boo hoo.
