Of course, for us, these changes are not in the right direction. But at
least they are admitting the problems and that is the first step toward
solving them. Hopefully they will come to the conclusion that H.R. 6200 is
the best solution available and do it for the 2008 election.
While it is timely, referring to this article: How about everyone sending a
brief clear concise logical strong letter to the editors of the NYTimes
about pro hand counted paper ballots and getting rid of the experiment of
computerized machines and any kind of lack of audit trails !!! Tell your
friends to do it too.
