Had no choice! It was either profits for them or life and security for their users and they chose profits for themselves over life for others. There is a myth that corporations are the cause of all our problems. This is nonsense. A corporation "is just a goddamn piece of paper." People make decisions and the decisions they make reveal the values and the state of consciousness of those who make those decisions. Those decisions help determine what kind of world we live in. Do not blame corporations, when individual human beings value money over education, profits over honor, and success over decency.
