Those who oppose AIPAC and CUFI are caught in the realm of nightmares

Have you ever drifted off to sleep hoping only for pleasant dreams, but what you confront are nightmares in which you are being chased by evil or confronted by evil? Has your reaction been to scream in silence where your pleas for help go unanswered?  At this point, you are unable to wake up and what you have experienced are night terrors.

Wikipedia clarifies the difference between nightmares and night terrors in which “the subject is not fully awake when roused, and even when efforts are made to awaken the sleeper, he/she may continue to experience the night terror for ten to twenty minutes. Unlike nightmares, which occur during REM sleep, night terrors occur during slow-wave sleep, the deepest levels of non-REM sleep.” They go onto describe the difference where “the subject often cannot remember the episode except for a sense of panic, while nightmares usually can be easily recalled.” Whatever the difference is, one still feels immense fright.

I do suppose many within our nation as well as others witnessing the events unfold in the Middle East concerning the tensions between Iran and the United States are exhibiting these night terrors and nightmares.  As we scream in silence, we are only doing so because no one in Washington is hearing our pleas.  We desperately wish to wake up but are caught within this realm of nightmares and night terrors.

In listening to a discussion between MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough and MSNBC’s consultant Pat Buchanan, Buchanan cites, “I think that the congress which gave the president a blank check to go into last war ought to stop him from going to the next one, Joe.” I find it fascinating that he mentions both the Neo-Conservatives and Israel.  Wayne White who is a former State Department Analyst cited of Bush that “people like himself and Dick Cheney are committed to this” and that should frighten everyone.  Wayne also stated, that if Bush might not move, “The Israelis might move”

While Buchanan states he does not believe that the Israelis have the capacity to do so, I would say that the Lebanese know of their capacity. In a moment, I will address the capability of Israel since I have written of it before.  White also stated that the last person who engaged in war with Iran was Saddam Hussein and it resulted in an “eight-year war.”

Within this three-way interview, the words of the Israel Prime Minister Ehud Olmert were put up on the screen, “The Jewish people with the scars of the Holocaust fresh on its body, cannot afford to allow itself to face threats of annihilation once again…we have the determination and the capability of defending ourselves…with all the means at our disposal.” I think I will take Olmert’s word over Buchanan’s seeing the devastation Israel brought forth upon the Lebanese.

If they have the means of defending themselves one must ask; why involve the United States?  While Buchanan opines that the Israelis will not do this because it would find itself isolated from the American people, their strike upon Lebanon did not have that result.  I find it terrifying where White stated that Israel may use nuclear weapons to take out these targets in Iran.  We all know that they have a nuclear stockpile consisting of 400 nuclear warheads.  At the end of this interview, White expressly opined of Israel “they are trying to push us.”

I have expressly written of the dangers of AIPAC having the ear of our government in the past.  But, the one organization that truly frightens me is CUFI (Christians United for Israel).  In this Bill Moyer’s piece, he delves into CUFI’s influence over our government you will clearly see the power of this organization as this group marches upon Capitol Hill.  You will clearly see they do have the ear of our Congress while those of us who do not believe as they do scream in silence. The words coming from Pastor John Hagee are frightening beyond belief and I am strongly urging all to view this entire piece.

In fact within this piece you will hear words coming from President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura in which they appreciate the work of CUFI, “for enhancing the relationship between the United States and Israel.” As you will view in this important piece, many powerful elected officials came to address this conference such as presidential contender, Senator John McCain, Senator Joe Lieberman and former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich.

I am all for free speech; but what about the separation of church and state as you will see this group met within the basement of the Capitol building.  They met there in order to discuss their plans and talking points to go over with members of congress.  Would our congress allow for members of Islam to do the same?

Hagee even cites Biblical scripture which we should all adhere to in support of Israel and even cited that we were visited by Katrina as a punishment from God. I would like to say to Hagee, not all Americans adhere strictly to the Bible.  For Hagee to even opine that Katrina was our punishment is an abomination.

I find that the message they bring forth is just as terrifying as words coming from those they oppose which are called Islamic fascists.  Brigitte Gabrielle even cites, “They have no soul” when it comes to Islamic fascists, and dare I say those who oppose groups like AIPAC and CUFI feel the same towards these groups?  She even advocates the monitoring of professors and Mosques.

Hagee even targets Iran within this piece and that is truly frightening.  Bill Moyers even falsely states that Iran wishes to wipe Israel off the face of the map and as I have written in the past, this is not the case.  Hagee even says it is time for the United States to consider a “preemptive strike against Iran”

What I find extremely terrorizing is that Hagee will cite Biblical scripture in which he discusses Armageddon which many call the end times.  I feel these statements relayed in this Moyer’s piece are just as terrorizing as any words coming from any terrorist organization.  Yet, CUFI has the power to influence the dialogue that is going on within this nation as they are broadcasted to millions upon millions of Americans.

Now I will address the pummeling of Lebanon by Israel as Hagee cites that “Israel is in greater danger than anytime in statehood”

This is the madness that was visited upon the innocent people of Lebanon by the State of Israel last summer and included in this piece written by me, Come to think of it, who are really the terrorists now? You will clearly see the burnt and charred bodies of innocent Lebanese.
