While most of the articles I have written have been about the corruption of our court system, I have always maintained that this “culture” permeates the entire system from the Whitehouse to the local and state office. It is an attitude that “We the People” are no more than slot machines, pull on our handles using a hand of fear and retaliation and out the tax money rolls. Let me remind you what our founding fathers wrote:
“Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government.”
Just in case you do know what the quote above is from, it is from the Declaration of Independence, and what it says is that while no one should change or revolt against our Government for trivial reasons, even if the abuses become bearable and accepted by the people. But when a long history of abuse and corruption become commonplace and acceptable, despotism, absolute power or authority used for the purpose of tyranny, follows and it is inevitable our Government will turn against the people, and will operate in its own self interest.
Our founding fathers wrote this because King George (the other one) was taking all of our nation’s wealth without any representation in parliament. King George’s military was kicking doors down and taking homes and land without a warrant or trial. Has anything changed in 200 years?
All of Americas wealth is now in the pockets of King George’s (modern day) court friends and family members, his “base”, the Supreme Court has ruled that they can take your house to build a shopping mall, illegal is not illegal if it is non-white cheap labor cutting your grass, cleaning your house or working in your sweat shop. How about a 200 year old battle cry, “No Taxation without Representation”. Does that 200 year old battle cry have any applicability to today’s world?
Are we STILL in Iraq?
I could go on and on for hours, but what is so special in the words written by our founding fathers is that they knew this would happen one day in this country. We would once again be in the same spot we had sought independence from over 200 years ago in that a King George mentality would once again rule this nation with the class wars of the day, those who have and those who do not, using their power in the form of oppression of the people.
History tends to repeat itself when you don’t learn the lesson the first time.
With that knowledge that history would repeat itself in mind, our founding fathers had the forethought to remind every American in written words that would last for the life of this nation that all Americans have the right AND the duty to stand up, with force if required, to remove tyranny from our Government.
What, you don’t think that a man who threatens World War III over what, oil or another nuclear weapons program that did not exist is not tyranny personified at the control of our Government and real weapons of mass destruction? Has not our Government been lying to the American people for years, both Democrat and Republican? Do you know anyone who has found justice in our courts? Did you know that less than ten (10) judges have been federally prosecuted in our 200 year history?
America is right back where it all started over 200 years ago. While America has material riches and has advanced in technology, medical and other great social areas, America is bankrupt in every other sense of the word in that we have no morals, no ethics, are self-centered, self-absorbed, where justice is affordable to those who can afford it and God is only printed on our real God, money.
We are a materially rich nation but an empty spiritual nation.
In a land formed on religious freedom and what was always the motto of America, God and Country, is not allowed to be uttered because our courts have twisted the Constitution and the sprit of our founding fathers.
We have a Government who lies about weapons of mass destruction, not once but twice, so that we can continue to send our children into a middle eastern Vietnam II meat grinder so we can drive our SUV’s and King George’s oil buddies can earn billions in profits on the blood of your children, and now, if not for the fact that he got caught, King George might have started World War III on a lie. AMERICA DOES NOT START WARS, WE FINISH THEM.
