For this, he will receive either life in prison or the death sentence. George Bush had knowledge of the disaster and abdicated his responsibility to the American public when he disregarded warnings and got away to his get-away. For his criminal negligence, he's never been held accountable.
Meanwhile, more bodies are still being discovered in New Orleans, months after Bush failed the people of the Gulf State when Katrina roared through.
Meanwhile, Lewis "Scooter" Libby has implicated George W. Bush as the person responsible for leaking selected information to scare the public into supporting the invasion of Iraq.
Meanwhile, the truculent Scott McClellan has rushed out to say it's legal because Bush has the authority to declassify information. Juxtapose this with images of George, announcing that the "leaker" would be dealt with.
Meanwhile, we have an embarrassing failure in a Congress that will not act on a Mauna Loa of evidence that the president of the United States has committed crimes""crimes that at any other time in our history would have him walking the Richard Nixon plank straight into an ocean of ignominious debility.
So why in hell isn't the mainstream media doing its job as a crucial component of our system's checks and balances to bring this into the family rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living rooms of every house in America? Why aren't the "reporters" talking impeachment because, clearly, Bush has lied time and again to have his way with us? As these entertainment pushers provide the fix for faux news junkies, they yammer and probe with their inane remarks and questions.
Meanwhile, the Bush Administration is committing criminal acts, raping our lives, and getting away with murder.
In their tease for viewers, the "reporters" state, "I ask the tough questions." But they are asking the wrong people. Enough about Duke and its culture of privilege. Enough about a missing bridegroom. We are committing atrocities in Iraq. We are on the verge of committing atrocities in Iran. We are betraying our troops. Our young are dying thousands of miles from home in a war that George Bush wanted from the get-go""wanted so badly, he could taste blood.
And there's been plenty spilled.
These anchors should be talking about the DNA flowing into the sand of Iraq""the DNA of more than 2,350 American soldiers killed by the lies of George W. Bush, the DNA of the wounded, a number exceeding 17,000, the DNA of so many Iraqis, and the DNA that Bush is planning to pour onto the ground of Iran. Instead, the imposters who have lost the authority to take themselves seriously as journalists are concerned with the lack of DNA in and on the body of an exotic dancer in North Carolina.
And they should be examining Bush's predilection for violence.
