Just as there were millions of Americans who saw through the WMD lies that Bush and Cheney used to sell the war-- to the Democrats who voted for it, there are even more Americans-- voters-- who know that the Democrats are doing it again. They are wasting time and American lives voting on legislation that is based on lies and deception.

It is a deception to pass legislation that you know will never make it past the senate, and that even if it did, would be vetoed by the president. It is a lie to say that you don't have the votes to stop the war when you actually do, when what you are really lacking is the guts.

Dems, Get used to it. The Republicans are going to say nasty things about you.

Get some spine Nancy, Harry, and all the rest of the Democrats who are avoiding using the power they have right now to stop the war.

The Democrats are selling the American people a bad bill of goods with their worthless, impotent, meaningless, non-binding legislation to stop the war.

The Dems could stop the war by refusing to fund it. But they are afraid of the nasty things the Republicans will say.

They should start worrying about the nasty things the 70% of the voters who oppose the war will say... and the way they will vote come 2008. If the Democrats don't get tough and stand up to the Republicans, they will have little to show for themselves come the 2008 elections. The moderates and Republicans who supported the Democrats, primarily in opposition to the Republicans, will not stay with the Democrats unless they are shown good reason to support them. Passing legislation that doesn't work won't cut it.

We've been there. In 2003, too many Democrats played games with the war. They played stupid. Now they apologize... or not. It's not going to work this time.

Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Stenny Hoyer, Hillary Clinton, Davod Obey,John Murtha.. you're not fooling anyone. Your worthless, non-binding legislation is pure BS. We know you are hiding from the real job you should be doing. You can stop the war by refusing to fund it. No 60 vote majority in the senate needed, no presidential pardon possible.

Yes, the Republicans will call you names. So what? Get over it. Let them. Call them names back. But don't let their name calling stop you from doing the right thing, from taking our brave soldiers out of harms way that they should never have been exposed to and which we know now, they should not be exposed to a minute longer.

Too many Democrats thought the public would buy your votes for the war. We didn't and now, the majority of Americans know you screwed up. I don't believe you bought the lies about WMDs. I think you were afraid then to stand up to Bush, to stand up to what you thought was American's desire to go to war. That's what leaders do. Do it this time. Block funding the war. Do it proudly. Take control of the messaging. Don't let the Republican failures who lied us into the war continue to manage the message. They are imploding and on the run. They are not worthy of your fear.

Your fear will be your undoing. OVercome it and the future of America will be in your hands. Fail to face it and you will lose the opportunity to save America, lose the opportunity to really solidify your lead and control of congress. Success does not come easy. But it can be done.

If your goal is to isolate Republicans who oppose ending the war, setting them up to lose the 2008 elections, this is far too timid an approach to dealing with the war. It's pure politics and does not serve the troops.

Embrace the power you have NOW. Block the funding of the war... NOW!
