The Brain Behind Bush's Brain: Rove Was Just A Ruse

Reading the eulogies to Karl "Spend More Time At Home With My Family Though My Kids Have Already Left The Home" Rove, both pro and con., um, fiction and reality, I've come to the conclusion that there  more diabolical explanation then meets the eye.
Most every sonuvagun who was swept in with the 2000 Gore plurality is gone.
Rumsfeld...gone. O'Neill...gone. Ashcroft...gone. Wolfowitz...promoted, then gone. Tenet...Medal of Freedom'd. Powell... humiliated. Libby...pardoned.
Now Rove.
Who's left? Albert Gonzalez? Is he still there? Seriously, I don't recall.
Condaleeza Rice the brain? Two words. Cal Ripkin. Naming a former baseball player as an ambassador may be kind of cool, but on the same day over 200 people were blown up in Iraq...? Two more words...bad timing.
It would be easy to pin this on Cheney. But any sleuth in training would see that Cheney is only a red herring. Yes. A smelly scarlet fish, but not the Brain. How smart is a guy who shoots his best friend in the face and waits a day to tell anyone? It's not the perp who gets off who is the genius. It's the virtuoso who gets the alleged scoundrel off who is the genius. Not O.J., but Johnnie Cochran. Not Bill O'Reilly, but the Fox lawyer who made the out of court deal that made sexual harassment charges go away. Not "The Prince," but Niccolò di Bernardo dei Machiavelli.
Even Lucianne Goldberg's pride and joy, Jonah, certainly not your standard Rove critic, in his homage to the dear departing Karl, said that Bush's Brain had overstayed way past his success years, "stubbornly refused to depart the scene on a historic high note."
So, if Karl wasn't smart enough to leave on the "high note," and was pushed out, and every other possibility doesn't quite seem to be qualified, who is the real brain behind the brain behind the brain?
As in any good story, it is the one you would least suspect.
And in this White House story the guilty party is...
Wait for it. Wait for it.
George W. Bush.
Yeppers. The Fool Who Would Be King, the man who in his own word's "can barely speak English," the man who nearly everyone this side of Sean Hannity thinks is where he is because of those clever enough to elect Chauncey Gardner president, is the mastermind of the perhaps the greatest caper ever pulled on the electorate.
Oh, you can poo-poo if you want, Mr Watson, but follow me here...
I realize that the first thing you'll say is "no one could be that stupid."
That's the same thing they said about comedian Pauly Shore. But it wasn't Shore who was stupid. It was his audience and the Industry. And it took plenty of movies and beaucoup millions before they figured out that Pauly was not funny nor talented in any way. But stupid? Who's the one who walked away with the bucks?
Even the Family Guy's Peter Griffin, as stupid as he may seem, has a hit show and perhaps the sexiest cartoon wife on TV.
Bush is just another Pauly Shore or Peter Griffin, only what he's been able to sell has resulted in getting hundreds of thousands killed and millions displaced in an uncalled invasion of a country who didn't attack us, placed us trillions in debt, left an entire state to drown, while in his spare time, soiled the constitution and its freedoms.
Failures all and his popularity has suffered, but who has gotten the blame? You didn't see Bush thrown out of office during Katrina. No. It was a perfectly placed scapegoat...Michael Brown. Think Bush didn't know what he was doing when he told Brownie he was "doing a heckuva job?" Think keeping Gonzalez on the job long enough to get through the illicit political prosecutor-firing is dumb?

Not when you have a ever-loyal fall guy well in place.
See, my dear Watson, it's really elementary.
Ask yourself. Who's the dummy? Who's the genius? Who has lost theirs jobs? Who hasn't?
Gone are so many of the so-called geniuses who Bush was coy enough to position as his personal White House moat.
And yet, while Rove is gone and Pauly Shore is left to run his mom's comedy club, George W. Bush remains in power.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is genius.
Maniacal genius.
