Now this is the same unelected, mentally deficient car wash attendant that has starred in many phony photo ops, and supports fake news. Air Force 28000 landing in Baghdad would be more conspicuous than the Goodyear Blimp.
Now, the Arabs still have US Stinger missiles and Russian shoulder fired missiles, and they have RPGs. Now just for shits and grins, lets say this isn't another attempt to keep the Bush Regime's threadbare"straw man" standing, and the George actually did go to the capital city of a country presently engaged in a HOT war.
The Iraqi's may not have known the arrival time of this white elephant, but they'd damned sure know of the departure time if by no other means than waiting with some sort of armament capable of relieving the US and the World of some fascist dictator.
Clearly, a rationally directed tanker, or attack helicopter pilot could have done the same. Sadly no one did.
However, this begs the question, WHY? At least for the Iraqi insurgents it does. This conundrum smells to high heaven in my view.
Further, there was a six minute swing wing ride (helicopter)to the "green zone" which has been taking mortar fire recently, and six minutes back.
In an article next to this one was a story of an American helicopter shot down killing two Americans, presumably the pilots.
Something else to consider is that Air Force 28000 burns nearly 2800 gallons of kerosene just to taxi to the runway.
If this act of lunacy IS true, the we get stuck with the tab for a short junket the George might use to score political points.
Did George arise in the middle of the night in a drunken stupor, or awake and alert for that matter, and just decide to make a twenty eight hour flight just to tell the PM "your future is in YOUR hands now?"
Or that the US "Government" was putting together a fund to allow Iraqis to buy their own oil? Or, was it that the Iraqis are to be stuck with the check when and IF any rebuilding ever takes place?
This is not unlike the "boy that cried wolf." Further it sounds like bullshit to me. If the George was actually the elected president, which established historic fact denies unequivocally, then the "President" would be acting in an entirely reckless and irresponsible fashion.
Taking that huge boat into a hot war zone during daylight hours is well within the parameters of stupidity, yet another in the endless litany of examples of a trait the George is famous for.
So, my money says Air Force 28000 remained on the ramp at Andrews or was hangered. That it went no where outside the Public Relations office with directions from the George team.
Now, no doubt, there will be people that will swear up and down, left, right and crossways, that Bush actually pulled this stupid stunt.
