There IS no plausible goal in Iraq but to get the US OUT! profanity warning

By Ticked Off Ted Bohne  Posted by Rob Kall (about the submitter)       (Page 1 of 1 pages)   No comments
I have to admit to being delighted to hear Rep. Murtha at least speaking the language that is necessary to end the murderous Bushwar in Iraq. Seeing a way out of this sh*t is easy until you get to the point where George and his crew of dickheads have to admit they fucked up and BAD.

Iraq is a lost cause. The ONLY thing the US can do at this point is beg the UN to step in and help bring the country to a halt in terms of warfare. Then maybe, just maybe, with the help of other nations and a CONTRITE U.S., together they can build a government that isn't the crap the Bush idiots are trying to foist on both the Iraqis and Americans. IT ISN'T WORKING!!! Further, there is absolutely NO chance of it working. Such is the fate of actions based on lies and deceit. No one with half a brain thinks this mess is better than life under Saddam Hussein, anymore than life for less privileged Americans under George Bush.

There is already a civil war in progress despite the bullshit being fed to the world by BushCo. These people lie with alacrity and are now using their latest diversion; screaming and crying about being called liars. Rewriting history? What in hell do they think they've done!! They've misrepresented historical reality at least back to the beginning of the Reagan calamity. American's actually still believe that the country was in GREAT shape with Ronnie. They gave their consent to actions like this nonsense in the Middle East then too, but then a pathetic clearly sick little Marine light Colonel was running a government inside THE government. But the American people evidently learned nothing from this, or the past crimes the Repiglicans have committed in their names.

I wonder, therefore, how many more dead on both sides will be too many for the American People. In the Nam, we learned to hate the VC, to think of them as warm turds, whether they were Charlie or not. It made them easier to kill. f*ck 'em was our answer. Slopes, dinks, we did anything to dehumanize them, and we did stop seeing them as human beings. This is happening now in Iraq. That kid who iced the wounded Iraqi looked just like me then. Looked like everyone I knew then too. As I said to one person who replied to my "article," I've never been sure ANYONE ever came home from the Nam.

Bush and his crew wouldn't have the foggiest notion of this feeling, or the connection between soldiers, especially in a firefight. The reason is simple, these lowlife rich boy cowards, all the while singing the praises of America, never served America, IN ANY WAY. They still haven't.. Anything Rumsfeld might have done worthwhile between '54 and '57 as an military aviator and instructor has long been erased by his treasonous acts with the rest of the Bush traitors. If Cheney had "more important things to deal with other than Vietnam," then how could he have any respect or concern for the pawns he and his face, GW, have dying every day in Iraq, and all the while planning more military interventions.

This war is by leaps and bounds more frivolous than was Vietnam (definition of frivolous: not serious in content or attitude or behavior, of no real value). This is not to disparage the young people fighting this war, but to demonstrate how little Bush and his bastards give a damn about them.

Despite the screwup nature of the Vietnam War, however, there were real statesmen making decisions, and real soldiers from WWII, and Korea assisting them, training them, and fighting along side them. That isn't the case here. In addition to the fact that there are almost NO Vietnam Veterans left on active duty, or reserves, these general officers idea of combat are thinks like Grenada, or Panama. The first Bushwar only took a hundred hours. The Iraqis rolled over like a shot dog. The crew on the "bridge" of this "sinking tub of state," is composed of inexperienced ideologues with no military experience in or anything else for that matter outside their sick sphere of existence. Further, These countless four star generals with every decoration known to man have no combat experience either. "PX" soldiers we used to call them.

But once again the question begged I clearly still; how much more will the American people tolerate. How many more dead Americans and Iraqis will be enough. How many more of the Governments SOCIAL responsibilities will be back burnered or just dumped to pay for this war?

THERE WILL NEVER BE ANY FORM OF DEMOCRACY IN IRAQ!! Further, the US needs to figure out how to create a democracy within it's own borders before running off "kickassing" around the world creating "democracies." Leave nation building to the people, if any, that are qualified. Seems to me that Dipshit George claimed without equivocation in the first debates that the US would not as in WOULD NOT be involved in "nation building" during his administration were he elected which we now know he wasn't.

The very fact that American's would even try to foist democracy in Arab, Islamic nations obviates beyond question the paucity of knowledge the average American has OF the Middle East. We can't afford to be taking any more sh*t because of Israel either. The 5.6 billion the US gave them this year can be used better here in the US. Despite George's mindless dialogue, it really IS US foreign policy that has turned the US into the World's dartboard. But the American people evidently agree with Bush since they continue to elect people who invariably function post election in direct contravention of the good of the people. Face it America, the blood's on YOUR hands.
