I am going to explain exactly why the Republicans can't be trusted, and until they get their act together, why they should not be allowed to hold national public office. I believe that this will be pretty damn close to the final word on why the Republicans should not control the House or the Senate, and I have been waiting for this very moment write this. We have four complete days for this article to get out and the American people have four days to digest what I'm about to say. I wish that I had a "bully pulpit" to talk from so that I could get to more people, and more likely than not, I am just preaching to the choir. If anyone can get this message to friends and relatives that might be thinking of voting for the Republicans, or throwing their vote away on people that their "conscience" dictates that they should vote for, please read this.

I'm not going to get into details about how the President, the vice-president, many Senators and Congressmen from both parties, the CIA and the myriad group of intelligence agencies were censored so that the administration could "prove" that Saddam Hussain had weapons of Mass Destruction. I am not going to tell you in detail how we took our focus off of Afghanistan where the hijackers received their training, and how, we are still are best buddies with Saudi Arabia, where almost all of the hijackers came from. I am not going into detail about how the American people have had their basic rights curtailed by the Patriot Act and the wiretaps on American citizens. I am not going into detail about how the Congress has passed tax reform that has only made the rich much richer, while doing basically nothing for the middle class and the poor. How the Republicans torpedoed a raise in the minimum wage by attaching a rider to the bill eliminating the Estate Tax. That rider would have enabled the wealthy to leave their estates to their relatives, tax-free. That was the price they wanted to give the poor a $2.10 raise. I'm not going to tell you how the Republicans are against stem cell research while they kill thousands of Iraqi's because they happen to have oil, while billions of stem cells are thrown in the trash instead of being used by the researchers to try to find cures for diseases. We have talked these things to death.

I am going to talk to you about war. I am going to tell you how William Jefferson Clinton tried to stop the terrorists and stop the killing in Africa and kill Osama Bin Laden, and every time that he tried, the Republicans would be in his face telling the American people that he was trying to "wag the dog". Does anyone remember? Does anyone remember when that blackhawk helicopter went down in Mogadishu and the Republicans had a field day with it? Can anyone remember that whenever Bill Clinton tried to use force, the Republicans would gang up on him and scream that he was just trying to take Americans attention from Monica Lewinsky? Does anyone remember that? I do.

Do Americans back President Bush because he is such a great guy, that they believe he was just trying to save the Iraqi people from the evil of Saddam Hussein? Do you believe that anyone in the administration cares about the Iraqi people while hundreds are being taken out of their home's everyday and killed because of sectarian violence that the Republican administration won't admit is really a civil war? When does it get to the point of a civil war? When everybody is dead or homeless? Will it be a civil war then? The President doesn't even admit global warming is real.

Here is the part that I think puts the cap on all of this. While the Republicans screamed bloody murder every time Bill Clinton did something militarily, they have managed to kill almost 2,900 American soldiers, and from estimates; between 300,000 and 600,00 Iraqi people. That is an act of commission. They are committing murder in Iraq for their own special interest's, not the American people's special interests.

The gravest errors are the errors of omission that this government is guilty of. If we, as a nation, are going to play cop to the world, then why haven't we done anything in Darfur? Why is a child dying every minute in Darfur? Why are we letting these so-called Arab Muslims that are in power in Khartoum, kill over a million of their own people? Why was it so important to intervene in Iraq and not in Darfur? Not just Darfur, why hasn't this President said or done anything about Robert Mungabe in Zimbabwe, who had in reality, has turned his entire nation into a concentration camp? Rhodesia was once the breadbasket of Africa, now their people are starving to death. Why did the Republicans stop Clinton, every time he tried to use American troops, and cheer Bush on, when he uses American troops for illegal objectives?

This is the reason why the Republicans have got to go. They stopped Clinton whenever he tried to use the military. The one time he managed to use the military, the war was over in six weeks. We took out Yugoslavia, a much better equipped Army than the Iraqis had, and the war was over in six weeks, and yet we didn't lose a man. That was because we had a REAL coalition and a REAL military plan with REAL military objectives. So go ahead and read this and go out and vote for a Republican. I don't know about you, but I have a really bad taste in my mouth every time I say the word Republican. The only bright spot about any of this is that it can't get too much worse. (I hope). Just about every mistake a government can make has been made, and we are still here. God must still love America. After the things these Republicans have done though, I don't know why.
