Once again the forces of the dark side are exposed.

The feckless, reckless, ballsless, dickless, Cheney and his mindless, incompetent minion big bro 43 are hovering somewhere trying to terrify US citizens and aggravating the entire Islamic world for a pack of al-queda mujahideen that could have been captured years ago at Tora Bora-if it suited their purposes.

Nazi Germany, the last country with aspirations for worldwide hegemony had to maintain a police state. Must be that free people would never agree with plans of raping and pillaging innocents in other countries. If you get your citizens cowed by eavesdropping on them and sending them to endless torture for defying W's boys in blue, then joining the US military or the private industry military for profit by W's cronies such as Blackwater, looks pretty good.

W signed an oath of office to follow the constitution. He can't be doing that if he can allege that the public property of the US--stuff we have every legal right to see, has been lost. We are approaching another Rose Mary Woods 18 minute gap, except that for big bro 43 the gap will cover his entire presidency!

The article "Judge to White House: Hold E-Mails" at
http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5hKKWSY_43nHexg55YcW2X9YXNayAD8SSERKO0
states "A federal judge Monday ordered the White House to preserve copies of all its e-mails, a move that Bush administration lawyers had argued strongly against.
U.S. District Judge Henry Kennedy directed the Executive Office of the President to safeguard the material in response to two lawsuits that seek to determine whether the White House has destroyed e-mails in violation of federal law.In response, the White House said it has been taking steps to preserve copies of all e-mails and will continue to do so. The administration is seeking dismissal of the lawsuits brought by two private groups, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington and the National Security Archive."

We are a land of laws, and these laws apply to all! That would be the case if big bro 43 didn't determine that since he's "The Decider" he is above all laws.
The AUMF didn't give him the right to issue signing statements on any piece of legislation he wanted to avoid. Nothing gave him the right to revoke the Geneva Convention protections from detainees or eavesdrop on US citizens. In doing these criminal activities he's flipping us off--as well as the constitution and international standards of decency.

Why is W going around warning Musharraf that he can't be both president and in charge of the military? If W managed to rescind the Posse Comitatus Act, which he has been attempting to do since after 9/11, then the "bubble boy"--who loves to describe himself as a war-time president, would be doing both functions to as excessive of an extreme as Pakistan's Musharraf is. W is doing the same things that Musharraf is but here it is an unannounced usurpation of powers of other branches of the government.

The Pakistanis know the score as they have a tyrant and the article "Pakistanis Growing Frustrated With U.S." at
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/11/15/AR2007111502273.html
states "Inside call centers and in high school social studies classes, at vegetable markets and in book bazaars, Pakistanis from different walks of life here say that ever since President Pervez Musharraf imposed emergency rule two weeks ago, he's been the most unpopular figure in the country. But running a close second, many say, is his ally: President Bush.
"We used to love America. Give me Tom Cruise and a vacation in Florida any day," said Parveen Aslam, 30, who like many Pakistanis has relatives in the United States. "But why isn't the U.S. standing up for Pakistan when we need it most? Is America even listening to us? We are calling them Busharraf now. They are the same man."

Enough is enough!

House Speaker Pelosi isn't supporting impeachment, but she said that the House will vote as soon as November 8th 2007 on a $50-billion war-spending bill that requires President Bush start bringing troops home.
The bill offers only a small share of the $196 billion that Bush is seeking for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan through the 2008 budget year and would underwrite about four months of war.
"This is not a blank check for the president," Pelosi said at a news conference today. "This is providing funding for the troops limited to a particular purpose, for a short time frame."
The legislation requires the administration to start withdrawing troops immediately, with a target for ending combat deployments in Iraq by December
2008. It allows some to remain for counterterrorism missions, Iraqi-troop training and protection of U.S. interests.
The president already has vetoed a similar plan, and Democrats lack the votes to override him. Bush has announced that he will start withdrawing some of the troops deployed earlier this year in a "surge'' of forces -- with about 5,000 coming home in December and another 16,500 coming home by spring of 2008. This would leave a combat force roughly equivalent to that which the U.S. had deployed in Iraq before Bush announced his surge in January."

This week Congress for the first was able to override 43's veto. Maybe the Democrats are getting some backbone.

The article "AT&T whistleblower: I was forced to connect 'big brother machine'" at
deals with W is trying to recreate Orwell's '1984" as "A former technician at AT&T, who alleges that the telecom forwards virtually all of its internet traffic into a "secret room" to facilitate government spying, says the whole operation reminds him of something out of Orwell's 1984.
Appearing on MSNBC's Countdown program, whistleblower Mark Klein told Keith
Olbermann that a copy of all internet traffic passing over AT&T lines was copied into a locked room at the company's San Francisco office -- to which only employees with National Security Agency clearance had access -- via a cable splitting device...."We're talking about domestic traffic as well as international traffic," Klein said. " And that's what got me upset to begin with."

W is privatizing the actors who commit crimes against humanity against us--his citizens, and then asking our legal system to let the perpetrators skate! He's eavesdropping on us and is trying to use the US military against us. That is directly out of the twisted psyches of those who handle the failure 43 and exceeds any of the evil deed that occurred in "1984".

So, W has been evading the law and this week some hopeful signs portend that W
will be proven to be governed by the same laws the rest of us are. But there is the Iraqi theatre of GWOT and it is looking like the Iraqis think that we have all the time in the world so they'll just start over again.
The surge was allegedly for providing a secure environment so that political reconciliation could begin, which is precisely the point of the article "Iraqis Wasting An Opportunity, U.S. Officers Say -- With Attacks Ebbing, Government Is Urged to Reach Out to Opponents" at
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/11/14/AR2007111402524_pf.html
which after mulling over the all too familiar problems concludes "So, how to
force political change in Iraq without destabilizing the country further? "I pity the guy who has to reconcile that tension," said Lt. Col. Douglas Ollivant, the chief of planning for U.S. military operations in Baghdad, whose tour of duty ends next month."

If one of the main actors wants to bomb it to the ground and start it over again-like the proverbial Phoenix rising from the ashes, then everything up until now has no value!

The article "Sadrist Calls for New Parliament in Iraq" at
http://www.guardian.co.uk/worldlatest/story/0,,-7073264,00.html
shows how the man behind the throne wants to expel the current Wizard of Iraq,
Maliki, the flyweights' flyweight who unlike every other Shiite leader doesn't even possess a militia.

Maliki is a dead man walking!

It states "A key ally of Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr called Tuesday for Iraq's parliament to be dissolved and new elections held immediately. Bahaa al-Araji, a lawmaker from al-Sadr's 30-member bloc, told reporters in Baghdad that the parliament has ''become a burden on the Iraqi people rather than an institution to solve their problems and offer services.''
''The parliament has become a very weak institution because of the way the elections took place, especially in Anbar and Mosul and some other southern provinces. I call for revising the election law,'' al-Araji said."

Just how grim is life in Iraq? The article "Iraq: A Tale of One City, Now Two
Beneath Rosey Assessments Bitter Truths" at
http://www.commondreams.org/archive/2007/11/12/5178/print/
states 'The separation of religious groups in the face of sectarian violence has brought some semblance of relative calm to Baghdad. But many Iraqis see this as the uncertain consequence of a divide and rule policy.
Claims are going the rounds that sectarian violence in Iraq has fallen, and that the U.S. military "surge" has succeeded in reducing attacks against civilians.
Baghdad residents speak of the other side of the coin - that they live now in a largely divided city that has brought this uneasy calm.
"I would like to agree with the idea that violence in Iraq has decreased and that everything is fine," retired general Waleed al-Ubaidy told IPS in Baghdad.
"But the truth is far more bitter. All that has happened is a dramatic change in the demographic map of Iraq."
And as with Baquba and other violence-hit areas of Iraq, he says a part of the story in Baghdad is that there is nobody left to tell it. "Most of the honest journalists have left."
"Baghdad has been torn into two cities and many towns and neighbourhoods," Ahmad
Ali, chief engineer from one of Baghdad's municipalities told IPS. "There is now the Shia Baghdad and the Sunni Baghdad to start with. Then, each is divided into little town-like pieces of the hundreds of thousands who had to leave their homes."

Many Baghdad residents say that the claims of reduced violence can be tested only when refugees go back home.
Many areas of Baghdad that were previously mixed are now totally Shia or totally Sunni. This follows the sectarian cleansing in mixed neighbourhoods by militias and death squads.
Most people blame the Iraqi police for the sectarian assassinations, and the U.S. military for doing little to stop them.
"The Americans ask (Prime Minister Nouri al) Maliki to stop the sectarian assassinations when they know very well that his ministers are ordering the sectarian cleansing," Mahmood Farhan from the Muslim Scholars Association, a leading Sunni group, told IPS.
A UN report released September 2005 held interior ministry forces responsible for an organised campaign of detentions, torture and killings. It said special police commando units accused of carrying out the killings were recruited from the Shia Badr and Mehdi militias."

This is another unannounced policy-the 80% solution. He let the dominant 60% of
Iraq, the Shiites, decimate 1 of the groups, the 20% Sunni segment, while the other 20% Kurdish segment appears to be nearing a war with Turkey. Just where is the good news?

Worse, big bro 43 is using goons who massacred innocents in countries previously to revisit their atrocities today in Iraq as "Retired Col. James Steele, who served as advisor to Iraqi security forces under former U.S. ambassador John Negroponte, supervised the training of these forces.Steele had been commander of the U.S. military advisors group in El Salvador in 1984-86; Negroponte was U.S. ambassador to neighbouring Honduras 1981-85.
Negroponte was accused of widespread human rights violations by the Honduras Commission on Human Rights in 1994. The Commission reported the torture and disappearance of at least 184 political workers.
The violations Negroponte oversaw in Honduras were carried out by operatives trained by the CIA, according to a CIA working group set up in 1996 to look into the U.S. role in Honduras.
The CIA records document that "special intelligence units", better known as "death squads", comprised CIA-trained Honduran armed units which kidnapped, tortured and killed thousands of people suspected of supporting leftist guerrillas.
Negroponte was ambassador to Iraq for close to a year from June 2004."

The Mehdi army utilizes the same phrase "death squads". W can't even exhibit some originality.

W didn't conceive of the surge--Cheney did! Cheney knew that the mercenaries such as Blackwater, couldn't keep on making huge profits if the US didn't get stuck in the Iraq quagmire.

Even the most experienced private armies of occupation have difficulties as the
article "Carlyle exec sees lower returns for private equity" at
states "Private equity is likely to see lower returns in coming years as it faces challenges including more costly debt, Carlyle Group co-founder David Rubenstein said on Thursday.
Such a dip in returns would not be surprising given that the industry enjoyed a "golden age" from 2002 to this year when "everything went perfect for almost everybody in the industry," the private equity veteran added."

Who was linked to Carlyle other big bro 43's poppy 41 who lately has been seen condemning anyone who casts doubt on 43's illegal, preemptive war-first such one in our country's history, against a defenseless country who never did a thing against the US.

They aren't making money hand over fist, but they are still profiting and they have powerful forces ascertaining that their reign will last as long as possible as the article "O Brother, Who Art Thou?" at
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/11/14/AR2007111402127_pf.html
shows how Howard "Cookie" Krongard, the State Department's inspector general tried to pretend he didn't know his brother Alvin "Buzzy" Krongard, is on Blackwater's advisory board. Reminds of how years ago on "Meet the Press" Cheney admitted he was getting money from Halliburton, but that didn't qualify as salary and how recently he didn't belong to the executive branch of the government.

The article exposes all of the hypocrisy that such an outlandish fabrication is replete with and concluded "Within hours of the hearing, the blogosphere was buzzing with word that Buzzy had contradicted Cookie's account. "I had told my brother I was going on the advisory board," the Web site TPM Muckraker quoted Buzzy as saying.
Good thing Buzzy's a martial-arts expert -- Cookie may be coming after him with an ass's jawbone."

Cheney was bitterly disappointed when we rid ourselves of the Vietnam one and
Cheney knew that 43 would do whatever he was told. So W's "stay the course" has turned into the mirror opposite of "Mission Accomplished", but he is not trying to get help! He is making clear statements attesting to his plans for us to be in Iraq as long as we've been in Korea. Why else would W's Pentagon hide their plans from the Democrats in Congress?

The article "US withholding Iraq strategy document from Democratic lawmakers" at
http://rawstory.com/news/2007/Pentagon_ignores_Dem_requests_for_Iraq_1113.html
states "The Pentagon has denied repeated requests from Democratic lawmakers to view a key document outlining the chief US strategy to achieve stability in Iraq.
Created by General David Petraeus and US Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker, the
Joint Campaign Plan details military and diplomatic steps intended to dramatically heighten security in Iraq by 2009. The exact nature of the plan, however, has been withheld from Congress thus far, according to Roll Call's Rachel Van Dongen.
"After persistent requests from House Armed Services Chairman Ike Skelton
(D-Mo.), the issue has moved up the Congressional chain of command to Speaker
Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.)," Van Dongen writes. "According to an aide, Pelosi asked President Bush for the document several months ago in a White House meeting.
Since then, Pelosi's staff has 'repeatedly' requested a copy, her aide said, but has not yet received one."

This stunning piece of hypocrisy couldn't have its origin from anyone other than our current day "Tricky Dick" Cheney who hasn't seen a document he wouldn't conceal or lie he wouldn't say! By this political move big bro 43 can let the
Democrats rail on about anything that isn't part of the plan that he and his military are putting in motion behind our backs.

And the Lord Voldemort of his crew, he who works with the forces of the dark side, is still hiding information from the US.

The article "Cheney Tried to Stifle Dissent in Iran NIE" at
http://www.commondreams.org/archive/2007/11/09/5117/
clearly shows the vile v.p. still likes cherry-picking the valid intelligence
work in this instance stifling "A National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) on Iran has been held up for more than a year in an effort to force the intelligence community to remove dissenting judgments on the Iranian nuclear programme, and thus make the document more supportive of U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney's militarily aggressive policy toward Iran, according to accounts of the process provided by participants to two former Central Intelligence Agency officers.
But this pressure on intelligence analysts, obviously instigated by Cheney himself, has not produced a draft estimate without those dissenting views, these sources say. The White House has now apparently decided to release the unsatisfactory draft NIE, but without making its key findings public."

Why bunker-buster bombs if Cheney isn't planning attacking Iran next?Hidden within the White House's $196 billion emergency funding request for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan is an item -- $88 million to modify B-2 stealth bombers so they can carry a newly developed 30,000-pound bomb called the massive ordnance penetrator, could only be used in military action against Iran.

Cheney has been laying the groundwork as he did with Iraq with the Lieberman-Kyl's Iran amendment passing by a vote of 76-22. Sen. Jim Webb (D-VA) called the amendment "Cheney's fondest pipe dream" and said it could "read as a backdoor method of gaining Congressional validation for military action."

Webb made an impassioned appeal to his fellow senators, declaring that the Lieberman-Kyl amendment on Iran should be "withdrawn" and cautioned that the "cleverly-worded sense of the Congress" could be "interpreted" to "declare war" on Iran.
Those who regret their vote five years ago to authorize military action in Iraq should think hard before supporting this approach. Because, in my view, it has the same potential to do harm where many are seeking to do good.
At best, it's a deliberate attempt to divert attention from a failed diplomatic policy. At worst, it could be read as a backdoor method of gaining Congressional validation for military action, without one hearing and without serious debate."

Wherever democracy is foundering Cheney is hovering around the periphery extolling his band of vile minions to get every last advantage for the propagation of GOP permanent political gain. Yes, once again the forces of the dark side are exposed it is ugly and will only get uglier. We've seen how Cheney and his PNAC chums lied their way into their fondest dream of gaining an entre'e into the Middle East oil that these ghouls consider vital for the US' interests. They have built permanent bases in Iraq. Cheney must be thinking it's a sure thing to go after the Shiite mullah theocracy in Iran with all of our troops and supplies already next door.
