For generations the GOP has been testing its boundaries.

For generations the GOP has been testing its boundaries.

Like children blaming their crimes on siblings or simply saying that xyz was really xy+z-dissembling, these "Mayberry Machiavellians" have disintegrated justice in our land of laws.

In Texas, W, in a perpetual regression into a spoiled, stupid 3 year old, first learned how to capture the minds of the red staters--much as Huey Long did in Louisiana, years ago. W and "Turd Blossom" perfected this vile mode of politics in Texas and they trotted it out onto to an unsuspecting US of A. See the detestation they have wrought.
If they hadn't introduced the Iraq war to the world, their other crimes would be heinous, but acceptable as primarily being due to a misreading of the constitution. Tricky, dickless, feckless Cheney has been sneering at the red staters for decades that the office of the president has been neutered since "Tricky Dick", but only when a GOP goon is in office.

Ronnie, the communicator, showed the GOP the way. He ruined our economy, raped 99%of the US for tax cuts for his cronies, poured money into Star Wars and when his boys were caught in Iran-Contra, Reagan feigned ignorance. He sacrificed Ollie North, that loose cannon in the Pentagon, and when some of his other boys were convicted, 43's Poppy pardoned them.

41 made them look like pikers when he commuted Libby's sentence.

Now we see this week how the phone companies would play along with big bro 43 eavesdropping on the citizens he pledged to serve, but only if they made a profit.

The article "Wiretaps Are Cut Over Unpaid Bills" at
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/01/10/AR2008011001879.html
states "Telecommunications companies have repeatedly cut off FBI access to wiretaps of alleged terrorists and criminal suspects because the bureau did not pay its phone bills, according to the results of an audit released yesterday."

We have people looking out for our interests, but our common masses and 4th estate are apathetic.

It continues "The American Civil Liberties Union, which has been sharply critical of the Bush administration's surveillance practices, called on the FBI to release the full report. The group's national security policy counsel, Michael German, also said that the report raises questions about the motives of large telecom firms, which
have, in many cases, allowed the government to run wiretaps on their systems without warrants.
"It sounds as though the telecoms believe it when the FBI says the warrant is in the mail, but not when they say the check is in the mail," said German, a former FBI agent."

W's minions are working against our interests as "The audit comes as the Bush administration is urging Congress to approve an overhaul of the 1978 wiretap law to grant telecommunications firms immunity from
lawsuits for helping the FBI and other government agencies conduct secret surveillance."

We have Judge's demanding White House's missing e-mails. W can't act under the
same rules of Freedom of Information that every other president has because his
entire political career is fallacious. He has not been the president. He has
been the CEO of the robber barons raping and pillaging the 99% of US, and
starting wars for profit.

The article "White House Told to Provide E-Mail Info" at
http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/010808S.shtml
states "A federal magistrate ordered the White House on Tuesday
to reveal whether copies of possibly millions of missing
e-mails are stored on computer backup tapes.

The order by U.S. Magistrate Judge John Facciola comes amid an
effort by the White House to scuttle two lawsuits that could force the
Executive Office of the President to recover any e-mail that has
disappeared from computer servers where electronic documents are
automatically archived.
Two federal laws require the White House to preserve all records
including e-mail."

Where do they get off saying they are above federal law? Unitary executive powers
don't apply here, even if Alito-who 43 picked for the US Supreme Court, and who learned all he would ever know about this during the Reagan administration, and Cheney say so!
What has the feckless, reckless, dickless, impotent Cheney ever said truthfully, from the Energy task force and receiving money from Halliburton?

It continues "The Bush administration had offered to have the government file a
sworn declaration stating that the White House is safeguarding all
backup materials. Instead, Facciola recommended that the judge in the
case, Henry Kennedy, issue a court order because "a declaration is not
punishable by contempt. In other words, without such an order,
destruction of the backup media would be without consequence." Kennedy
did as Facciola suggested.
The subject of missing White House e-mail arose early in 2006 when
the prosecutor in the Plame investigation, Special Counsel Patrick
Fitzgerald, disclosed that not all electronic message traffic of the EOP
and the office of Vice President Dick Cheney "for certain time periods
in 2003" was preserved through the normal archiving process."

Who would ever dare do this in the US of A?

The article "Judge demands answers on White House's missing e-mails." at
adds "Facciola noted the importance of acting quickly since e-mails that might be
retrievable from individual computer workstations in the White House "are
increasingly likely to be deleted or overwritten with the passage of time."

The 8 Jan 2008 article "JUDGE ISSUES ORDER DEMANDING ANSWERS FROM THE WHITE HOUSE ON BACK-UPS OF 10 MILLION MISSING EMAILS" at
http://citizensforethics.org/node/30704
notes that "Today in a case consolidated with CREW's lawsuit against the Executive Office of the President, The National Security Archive v. Exec. Office of the President, Magistrate Judge Facciola issued an order requiring the White House within five business days to answer four questions concerning back-up copies of the millions of emails missing from White House servers.
Like CREW, the National Security Archive is seeking expedited discovery to
determine what, if any, back-up copies of the missing email still exist. In
advance of ruling on the discovery request Magistrate Judge Facciola-who also
issued an order several months ago requiring the White House to preserve all
existing back-up capies in response to CREW's motion-required the White House
defendants to answer, through a sworn declaration, questions about whether the
back-ups are identifiable by period of time they cover, whether they are
identifiable by data they contain, whether they contain emails created between
2003 and 2005 and whether they contain the missing emails."

The ACLU was irate against the wiretaps and CREW about the missing e-mails.

Why isn't the 4th estate irate about the failing Iraq policy?

The article "Pentagon Official: Surge Has No More Than A '50-50' Chance Of Success" at
http://thinkprogress.org/2008/01/08/pentagon-surge-succeed/
states "In a news conference today, President Bush said that he now sees political
progress in Iraq that is "matching" the security gains achieved last year:
It was clear from my discussions [with Prime Minister Maliki] that there's
great hope in Iraq, that the Iraqis are beginning to see political progress
that is matching the dramatic security gains for the past year.
But Pentagon officials are wary of sounding such an optimistic note,
particularly on "political progress." In fact, they say more difficult times are
ahead.
Today at the Heritage Foundation, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for
Middle Eastern Affairs Mark Kimmitt said 2008 will be "far more difficult" than
2007 for the U.S. strategy because "it depends far more on the Iraqis themselves
to show progress on key legislation, on their economy, and reconciliation."
Kimmitt predicted only a mild chance that "surge" security gains will last:
2008 and beyond will be a success, the surge will be a success, if the gains
in security can be translated into gains in stability...if I had to put a number
to it, maybe it's three in 10, maybe it's 50-50, if we play our cards right."

Big bro 43's main military propagandist, Gen. David Petraeus, made similar half
statements.

How does the US still have to be dropping another "Shock and Awe" on
Iraq, particularly near Baghdad, correlate with success there?

The article "U.S. Planes Pound Area South of Baghdad" at
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/01/10/AR2008011000675.html
states "In the span of 10 minutes Thursday, American warplanes
dropped as much explosive south of Baghdad as they usually do in a month, a thundering barrage of more than 40,000 pounds of bombs intended to blow up stashes of insurgent weapons.
The B-1 bombers and F-16 fighter jets dropped 38 bombs in the opening minutes of the operation, which was aimed at three main areas of Arab Jubour, a rural district on the outskirts of the capital that became a focal point of the U.S. military troop buildup last year.
"This is al-Qaeda in Iraq, one of their last safe havens in our area of
operations," said Sgt. 1st Class Randal Maynard, a U.S. military spokesman. "And we're going in, choking them out from our region."

The surge put the majority of the additional troops into an area
immediately near Baghdad and we are still forced to mutilate innocents.

It doesn't matter what the US MSM says. We kill Iraqis and we tick off
bin laden, the one W vowed to get "dead or alive".

The article "Us Bombs Outskirts Of Baghdad" at
http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/34FF8497-B1B6-4739-BB4F-7C500D389CE0.htm
states "The US military said in a statement on Thursday
that the intensive bombing by B-1 bombers and F-16 fighter jets on the village of Arab Jabour was aimed at al-Qaeda targets.

However, a local Sunni tribal leader told Al Jazeera that many civilians were feared dead and 300 families had fled after the offensive began earlier in the week.

Abdallah el-Jbouri, who was on a visit to Syria, said that at least 40 houses and the main road out of the village were destroyed."

W said we needed a democracy in Iraq. Now it is anything the Iraqis
want.

The article "For U.S., The Goal Is Now 'Iraqi Solutions'-
Approach Acknowledges Benchmarks Aren't Met" at
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/01/09/AR2008010903701.html
clearly exemplifies big bro 43 is willing to label any version of failure in Iraq a tremendous success.

It states "In the year since President Bush announced he was changing course in Iraq with a troop "surge" and a new strategy, U.S. military and diplomatic officials have begun their own quiet policy shift. After countless unsuccessful efforts to push Iraqis toward various political, economic and security goals, they have decided to let the Iraqis figure some things out themselves.
From Gen. David H. Petraeus and Ambassador Ryan C. Crocker to Army privates and aid workers, officials are expressing their willingness to stand back and help Iraqis develop their own answers. "We try to come up with Iraqi solutions for Iraqi problems," said Stephen Fakan, the leader of a provincial reconstruction team with U.S. troops in Fallujah.
In many cases-particularly on the political front-Iraqi solutions bear little resemblance to the ambitious goals for 2007 that Bush laid out in his speech to the nation last Jan. 10. "To give every Iraqi citizen a stake in the country's economy, Iraq will pass legislation to share oil revenues among all Iraqis," he pledged. "Iraqis plan to hold provincial elections later this year.

Here is the truth! "Talk of Iraqi solutions "is largely a red herring," said Wayne White, who led the State Department's Iraq intelligence team from 2003 to 2005.
"This is a catchy phrase aimed at touting-and exaggerating-success in Sunni Arab areas," such as Anbar, "while diverting focus away from potential downsides related to same," including the creation of local forces allied with the United States but opposed to the Iraqi government.
Much of the "Iraqi solutions" strategy is taking place on the neighborhood level, where the U.S. military has expressed little interest in reversing the sectarian cleansing that contributed to the recent decline in violence."

In the neighborhoods locals are killing one another until only the dominant sect survives. Sounds like Darwin's "survival of the fittest" Iraqi style. This 80% solution big bro 43 vowed to be against as it basically permits genocide!

Who cares what he says as long as he gets our troops out? Big bro 43 is walking away from even that as "bubble boy" said Saturday that he has made no decision on bringing more U.S. troops home from Iraq, and if his top commander does not want to go beyond the reduction of forces that's already planned, "that's fine with me." "The only thing I can tell you is we're on track for what we've said was going to happen."

Does that mean anything? How do 4th estate members allow that to be an answer?

What citizen of any country wouldn't be disgusted with W's aggressive usurpation of non-presidential powers, which results in his dismantling of our civil rights? Big bro 43 has backed away from requiring a democracy in Iraq while simultaneously changing the world's finest democracy-ours into an oligarchy, thanks to our doltish red staters and inept, cowardly 4th estate.
