the Size of a Government

By       (Page 1 of 1 pages)   8 comments

It is not the Size of a Government that determines whether it is good or bad, effective or wasteful, it is the individuals who are responsible for it's operation and the involvement and attention or lack of both paid to their actions by those whom are governed.

A family of 4 doesn't require a large estate in order to live comfortably. A social group of thousands however would be unable to survive on the same estate. The size requirement of an effective government is in direct proportion to the size of the population it governs. When a tiny group of Elites attempt to downsize a government designed to deal with a huge population they do so in order to eliminate the rules and regulations put in place to balance the needs of everyone. They scream Big is Bad and use examples of laws that hamper "their" ability to take the lion's share. They seek power and wealth for themselves and tell the masses that these laws are the reasons that everyone isn't wealthy as well. Of course the truth is diametrically opposed to the rhetoric they use in their quest to destroy democracy.

The greatest tool in their arsenal is the media and it's use in the continued bombardment of the people with their deceitful propaganda. The airwaves are the property of we-the-people but the Elite have taken then over and effectively prevent their use by those who would offer an opposing view. Though the people are restricted from the use of what is rightfully theirs they receive no payment from the Elite who use them against the people to whom they belong. They have no intention of shrinking this part of the Government that they already control.

The only real answer to the problems the world faces today is education, truth imparted to the masses and their consequent understanding of same and drive to put things right.  This must be done with the realization that like Single Payer Health Care (which the Elite doesn't need or want either) EVERYONE IS IN and NO ONE IS OUT! This planet belongs to every inhabitant and God has No Chosen people. We are all equal in his eyes, every color, every religion and every sexual persuasion. We were given free will and any judgment made of us will be up to him not some fanatical sect or cult. Religious rule as an effective and beneficial to mankind means of government is a dire impossibility, as history has shown. All it has ever produced is death and destruction. This fact is the basis for the past success of SEPARATION Of CHURCH AND STATE in the attempt to create the Democracy that America had gained. The Elites' attempt to dissolve this has nothing to do with their proclaimed false belief in God; it has to do with their knowledge that Religious indoctrination is the most effective tool in controlling the flock on the way to the slaughterhouse.

The Golden rule is a different matter and if adhered to would change the world dramatically for the betterment of all. It is not the property of any one religion and is essentially shared by them all despite what name they have given to their supreme being. White is Blanca yet the same thing. God is Allah yet the same. There is only one God and the fact that different groups call him by different names has only to do with language differences, nothing else. That Man (in the Name of a so called belief in God) is willing to break the Commandment Thalt shall not Kill, with the excuse of a difference in language speaks of Satan rather than God. A Governments that wages wars on weaker Nations in the quest for domination and wealth while spouting one "Nation under God" and "In God we Trust" speaks even louder of Satan and commits blasphemy of the most evil and wretched kind.

In truth "In Hypocrisy, Lies & WMDs We Trust" is a far more truthful and accurate motto for the Nation we have allowed ours to become. If we love it as we claim we will not leave but stay and fight to set it right and do justice to the blood and sacrifice our forefathers gave and made to give us the opportunity that no people on earth had previously enjoyed.

After 60 years I still retain enough naivete- to believe world peace is possible but being a realist have to face the fact that I won't be around to see it. In my youth some well meaning folks tried to teach me to respect my elders but my (more...)
