Keith E. McHenry is the Executive Director of Plays for Living, Inc. (PFL), an award-winning nonprofit organization that uses live theater and facilitated conversation as tools for producing social change PFL gives Keith a platform to use the wealth of knowledge and experience he has accumulated and build an organization that can have a positive impact in the world. Keith facilitates conversation on topics with which he has personal experience including cultural diversity issues, the achievement gap, issues facing returning veterans and their families, and class and gender equality.
A seasoned leader, communicator and facilitator, Keith is a collegial team builder with a concertmaster leadership style that combines an open process of exploration and discovery with focused, clear, directed support.
His audiences have included children, youth and adults in family, school, after school, community and corporate settings. In his facilitations Keith leads by example, and builds environments that help individuals, organizations and communities develop and come together through effective communication, collaboration, paradigm shifts, embracing "otherness" and focusing on performance as a tool for transformation.
He holds a B.S. in Communications and an M.A. in Media Ecology from New York University.
