My personal life is dedicated to sharing the gift of music and art with my students and the people around me.
My public life is dedicated to shifting the discourse in this country toward an intelligent and intelligible conversation. I believe that with the proper use of language and media, we can begin to talk about the things that really make a difference in the world and leave behind the superficiality of fear and anger. I believe that this is necessary to generate the level of popular awareness that we can have a future that serves ALL people and the generations to follow.
I'm a strong stand for the future of the space program as one aspect of our destiny, and I embrace new technologies for communication, labor replacement, computation, longevity and fabrication... PROVIDED we approach all of this with intelligence, awareness and a global perspective.
I see my job in life to be the enablement and empowerment of ALL people's self-expression. No one need be left out.
