The Fallacy and Danger of Free Trade "Free trade" is a zero sum game and the United States is losing. "Free trade" does not increase prosperity, welfare or general wealth. It simply creates winners and losers, and while some in our country have gotten rich the nation as a whole is falling further and further behind.
