Voter Suppression 101 at GSU: Tell Congress to support the Caging Prohibition Act Something is rotten in Statesboro. Clearly,some people want to stop these students from voting,and they're getting away with it. Challenging voter residency is an effective voter suppression tactic - it's underhanded,it happens all the time, and it's not illegal.But you can help. In the last 24 hours,members of Congress introduced legislation that would address this exact problem - in Statesboro,and the entire country.

Shakeup at Justice While the departure of Gonzales is a positive development,it is only a step:Congress must ask the tough questions to get to the bottom of what has occurred within the Civil Rights Division of DoJ over the past six plus years.Hans von Spakovsky's nomination to the FEC is still before the Senate.It is our hope the White House and the leaders in the Senate use this opportunity to restore confidence in our justice system.
