Judyth Vary Baker, born in US, 1943. Writer, poet and artist with degrees in anthropology and English, and an ABD in 18th Century English Literature and Linguistics. She was trained in forensic anthropology and medicine, with cancer research experience. A mother of 5, her name is on the Bicentennial Monument in Stafford, TX, for civic service. She was a longtime newspaper reporter, teacher, and college instructor, but in 1999,after her youngest child left home, she revealed to Sixty Minutes her involvement with Lee Harvey Oswald, providing new evidence showing Oswald was falsely accused of killing John F. Kennedy in November, 1963. Judyth stated she was closely associated with Oswald in New Orleans, corroborated by several witnesses and/or their families, as well as by documents such as pay records showing she and Oswald were hired the same day by a small sub-company, (Standard Coffee,New Orleans), were transferred together to the parent company (Reily) a week later, that an ad was posted for Baker's replacement the day Oswald was fired from Reily, and that Baker herself was fired by Reily the same day (Aug.9,1963) Lee Oswald was arrested. Baker's love affair with Oswald is recounted in detail in her book Me & Lee: How I Came to Know,Love and Lose Lee Harvey Oswald (Trine Day, 2010). A writer of scholarly articles in literature, she also wrote When the Clouds Came Flying By (children's poetry). She developed a new genre of literature (Progression Literature) under Pat Rushin at U of Central FL in 1996. She lives in exile due to problems stemming from malicious reportage, such as by The History Channel. Baker's relationship with Lee Harvey Oswald has been included in documentaries; "The Love Affair" -Episode 8- has been the most important, in the series THE MEN WHO KILLED KENNEDY, aired by A & E and the History Channel in the US, Australia, and Europe. It was quickly banned, and Baker was forced to flee to The Netherlands, where she and Martha Rose Crow became close friends. Crow suddenly died in 2010 under mysterious circumstances soon after publishing endorsements of Baker on her blogs, calling Baker "my best friend" and having complained, the same day she died, that she and Baker were "under attack." Baker became dedicated to publishing the books, poetry and plays Crow wrote, as well as finishing Political Ponerology for Today's World -- a book she and Crow collaborated on. Baker returned to the US late in 2004, but after being assaulted in 2007, she returned to Europe. On Sept. 11, 2007 she was again forced to flee for protection, this time to Sweden. There she was accepted as a political asylum seeker in the EU political asylum system. Denied permanent acceptance, as a non-combatant American citizen, Baker nevertheless received protection for over ten months until family and friends could provide safe havens for her in several places in Europe and elsewhere. Baker, who has vision and orientation problems due to being injured in suspicious "freak accidents" in Dallas, TX and Orlando, FL, had gone to Hungary to get physical therapy and to teach English, when her life was seriously threatened. The book Dr. Mary's Monkey, by Edward T. Haslam, which highlights Baker as a key witness in a secret cancer research project linked to the Kennedy assassination, was reviewed on a popular blog there. Baker then became apparently the first political asylum seeker to present with a certified service dog, casting attention on the needs of disabled political asylum seekers. Baker has remained in exile ever since, relying on donations, book sales and sales of paintings. Book reviews for Me & Lee at Amazon reveal the book's impact on readers, while a one-star review there ("Who cares if Dr. Mary wore her hair up in a bun?")reveals the derogatory style of her detractors. Says Baker: "I consider attacks by known "Oswald-did-it" apologists a badge of honor.
