I'm a researcher into human behaviors . . . always. Santa Barbara California has more opportunity for this than people might imagine.
I'm also self employed in the construction world as a surveyor working as job supervisor under a civil engineer. Other activities include video production and writing as well as welding, fabrication and mechanical design/repair work occasionally. Art and music are occasional pastimes too. History is a subject studied with an eye towards human nature, the behaviors and why. Throughout my life I've consulted with indigenous people and sourced their oral histories for their understandings of behaviors and comparison to what various branches of psychology perceive. These sources provide great direction in identifying the specific failings of those contemporary quasi sciences that can be seen today.

The issues of our world require understanding if they are to be appreciated in a constructive manner. A simple fact is always observed. The human unconscious mind controls people most often. Behaviors of history, provide much insight into the true events of history if it is assumed the unconscious mind has always controlled people.
The research has taken several directions. One looks into the accountability of psychology to determine if the failings of the discipline can be recognized. Another looks into perceptions of the scribes of the past, who work to share their perceptions of behaviors and what their language may have meant to them that our modern perceptions have difficulty interpreting, etymology. A vital aspect of psychology is the behaviors of those in the legal system. Examining the specifics meanings of law and comparing to the decisions of the past, then those which are more contemporary to observe the perceptional shift legal authority has taken.
