Hyeon In-ae, Ph.D., North Korean defector, is a visiting Research Fellow of Korea Institute for National Unification(KINU). Born in Chongju, North Pyongan, North Korea on Feb. 7, 1957. She defected form North Korea in 2004. she received Ph.D., in North Korean Studies in Ewha Woman's Univ. South Korea in 2014. She also has Bachelor of Education in Philosophy from Kim Il Sung Univ. North Korea in 1979. Her major fields of study is North Korean Society. "Information Bomb" Needed Against North Korea's Nuclear Bombs North Koreans face a dearth of information as if they were in the 1700s. They have been brainwashed by their regime and need to be provided with at least minimal amount of outside information, so they can see for themselves opportunities to live the lives they want to lead. Dropping an "information bomb" on the country is necessary to tell the people there the truth.
