First as a fellow Native American (Navajo and Cherokee) also as US Army Afghanistan and Iraq Vet 19kilo (Tanker) served 01-04. I've been watching this and I find it sickening. They are using military tactics to arrest these Native Protesters and for what? Because they don't want a leaky Pipe line throu their Rez. They haven't even put up the pipeline completely and already have had a oil spill thats ruining the land. Us Natives have had our country stolen from us, the commutes genocide killing over 100 million of our people all over our country. Those that lives where forced to live on Reservations which mind you some are barren lands that the government was simply not jerested in st the time. But now because "Oil Companies" want to build a pile line and further destroy the land. The government is abusing and besting Natives trying to get them to submit. Reservations are sovernland, the government has no right. Not to mention they are trying to pass laws for foreign refugees to come here on tax layers money. Not trying to be a jerk, but if anyone should be given anything or any type of benefits it should be us Natives first. As a Vet this is not what I fought for, I fought for this country as a Proud Native American and now to see this hapoen to other Natives is sad a sickening. In my opinion, if they are going to use violence, they I'm sure their are some Vets among those Natives, so maybe they should start uskng some of the tactics they taught us. Sometimes violence can only be met by violence. So maybe start bombing those pipelines like in the middle East, maybe that would teach them people will not stand for them abusing and stealing Native lands again. But that's just my opinion, I wasn't raised to debate issue's, but to us force and maybe that's what's needed?
