My life has included various explorations and adventures in philosophy, religion, economics, psychology, group dynamics, people, esoteric training, teaching, traveling, gardening, motorcycling, skiing, scuba, skydiving, fire-walking and raising three incredible kids. I come from a professional health care background of service, with an insatiable curiosity.
Curiosity led me to pierce the illusion of the American Dream: if everyone was so free and happy, what was the dark underbelly of pain and suffering that I had seen and felt from a very young age? My early training to 'believe' in any dogmatic belief system or story has been replaced with the awareness that a belief or story either supports people and life and feels right, or it doesn't.
What I see is that the age old literature theme "Man's Inhumanity to Man" is alive within the very fabric of our lives in the form of 'beliefs' which have become institutionalized in politics, religion, economics and our social structure.
Now as never before the 'people' are comparing notes, exposing that which is not serving the whole. The wake up bell is pealing in groups all around the world, challenging core beliefs. We need to keep going, keep uniting for collective fairness and justice. It is truly an exciting, yet challenging time.
The website I've created probes the Matrix through articles, news reports and extensive links. It offers tools to challenge core beliefs, as well as to explore values based on Universal Law.
Exposure of wrongdoing is a small but important first step in Change. As we expose, we see and must face our primal origins, the shadow side of mankind that has woven itself throughout our civilized world in the form of greed and self-righteous violence toward animals, children, women, men, and nature. Many indigenous cultures had a way to channel this shadow side. Young men were given structured rites of passage into their society as honorable warriors, or Grandmothers slept with the young girls to prevent rape. Lessons, codes and ceremonies were passed down through the generations; they knew the shadow was a part of human nature and dealt with it. At this point in history, the shadow is Big. It is a violent virus that survives in secrecy, spreads itself by getting a free ride on our emotions, stealing our energy and our right to a free, joyous, creative life.
We must have the courage to see the truth of the shadow in Ourselves as well as the structures we participate in. When we examine Universal Rights and Law we have an independent way to Assess whether our Self, a person or structure is adding positive or negative energy to the world. We must then address our attachment or conformity to life-draining energy and decide what to do about it. Releasing conformity to such energy and aligning to Universal Truth offers great freedom, a solid base of honesty and authenticity, a lighter Self from which we can relax into our full potential, our creativity and our spontaneous fun nature. Basing our actions on Universal Rights will be a gift to all generations that follow us.
