Selling out or buying out? On 12 December 2006, in a landmark ruling, the Court of First Instance of the European Communities,stated that it "Orders the Council to bear its own costs and to pay four fifths of the applicant's costs." This was a clear confirmation of the PMOI being removed from the terror list.13) The Council informed the PMOI on 30 January of its intention to maintain the organisation in the list on the basis of the March 2001 decision.
