For 18 years I helped grow a political lobbying organization for US domestic and foreign policy to end poverty (www.results.org). We grew into 100 US communities, seven countries, and were instrumental to creating two UN summits: the 1990 World Summit for Children and the 1997 Microcredit Summit. I shifted my work when I concluded that the US political response from both parties' "leadership" always and only would lie to us, lie to the press, renege on their promises, and had US corporate media as complicit allies for their disinformation. Importantly, these lies of omission and commission are in the face of a million children dying from preventable poverty every month despite our work at the World Summit for Chidren (the largest meeting of heads of state in world history at the time) proving that food, health care, and primary education costs less than 1% of the developed nations' GNI while reducing population growth rate, stopping environmental damage, and making the world a safer place. Even Microcredit, that earns a profit while ending poverty, was "supported" only in nearly-empty gestures. Indeed, US "leadership" interest continues to be in programs that make global poverty worse: IMF and World Bank-induced debt in US dollars that result in more oppressive "austerity programs" and privitization of resources to US corporations (consider the best-selling work of John Perkins: Economic Hitman).

So I shifted focus to two areas:
1. Research, explain, document and prove unlawful US wars. The wars are Orwellian unlawful; not even close. This is "emperor has no clothes" obvious upon a few minutes' investment to understand the uncontested facts and law.

2. Research, explain, document, and prove the rigged-casino that our economy is, and the obvious solutions that unleash trillions of our dollars every year. As a teacher of economics, I understand that "trillions" doesn't penetrate into understanding, but know this: our economy would recover so fast and forever that the brighter future we all imagine would be realized almost immediately. Don't believe me; look, learn, reflect, and see for yourself.

"Open proposal to US higher education: End unlawful war, oligarchy economics with education" says what I have to contribute. Search that title with "Carl Herman" and you'll find it.

Solutions to US economic controlled demolition are obvious, but We the People must demand them A lot has happened in the economic crisis of the last two years, but few reforms have been enacted. It doesn't have to be this way; there are trillions in unspent government funds; ways to repay our national debt, end poverty, and build a more prosperous & just future, as attested to by numerous acclaimed experts and objective analysis. First, we have to end the Age of Parasitism.
