I was born in 1937. I served in US Air Force intelligence in Germany from 1955-58. In 1957, while still in service, I tried to organize a union of fellow disgruntled enlisted men. Since then, I've been a political analyst/activist and advocacy journalist. My sister calls me a "career trouble-maker for the US government." I live on the poverty line but I am not poor. I count my wealth in friends and time to do what I please. I've been a self-ordained syncretist priest since 1984. As such, I pray daily for a Renaissance rather than a revolution. The greatest honor of my life so far was being allowed to accompany to Iraq in 2003 fellow progressive radicals as volunteer human shields. I am a "conspiracy nut," believing that conspiracy is synonymous with politics. I'm a member of Just Detention International, Earth First, Veterans for Peace, IWW Local #1, and many other left groups. The worst thing anyone could call me is a "liberal." I'm a left-wing radical. I see radical problems in the world that can only be solved by peaceful radical solutions.
