A retired union organizer for SEIU Tom organized primarily public sector workers in Georgia, Missouri, Florida, Louisiana, Texas, Arizona and Colorado with side assignments in Illinois and Iowa and worked on the election campaigns for Al Gore, John Kerry and Barrack Obama as well as state and local elections throughout the South. An ex-teacher, Realtor, carpenter, and self employed house painter, Tom is well traveled in the blue collar sector as well as the white collar and has a special distaste for public officials that abuse the faith of their electorates by crawling into the pockets of special interests.
