I was introduced to the EST way of thinking in the early 70's. I feel like my approach to life is one of checking my response and my beliefs and listening to, not only the person I am speaking to, I also ask questions to see where their beliefs came from. How do they joke, what makes them sad or happy. I know I create my feelings and I know others do as well. It is other people who still think the cause of their feelings or moods come from outside themselves. Then you have the chemical imbalances that make us creative, or crazy. My husband and I have owned our cancer center for 20 years. We watched patients who were beautiful and wonderful people become clinically crazy due to brain chemistry. I have joined this discussion group to remind people of something we already know. That our thoughts are our own. We create them and we color them with experiences that are true for us. Because we all know something that is very true for me is not true for you at all.
