I hold a Masters of Science in Criminal Justice, Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice, A.S. in Business Administration, and I am currently pursuing my PsyD in Criminology and Justice. I wish to further education and pursue research in my feild to help returning veterans, especially those suffering from PTSD, into integration into society. I volunteer my time locally to many local veteran and police organizations. I also tutor at my daughters school in the areas of American History, Civics, and Creative Writing.
I am veteran of the US Navy with six years of service as a US Navy Hospital Corpsman having served with 3rd BN 6th Marines in Afghanistan. I also spent three years with the SC Army National Guard as a Feild Combat Medic (91W). I am very proud of my service to this great country and take that service very seriously. Just a note god bless all those who still serve and will continue to do so. I also spent five years as a correctional office until I opened my current business.
As for my politics it very simple to me, without the pretentious self rightious rhetoric currently floating around in this country today, when all else fails read the instruction manual. In this I mean I am a strict constitutionalist in the fact our Rights were plainly laid out by our founding fathers. Any attempt to reinterpret these rights of men, as directly and plainly spelled out, does a great diservice to those who would claim to have our best interest at heart. You see the US Constitution was not written to tell the citizenry of this country the limitations of the rights and control them. The opposite is true it was to tell the government their limits and just what the government can and can not do. You see we forget that the government governs only by the consent of the governed and not vice versa. In the end the government can only take away what we as people let them! One last note I just wish to point out we are not a "Democracy" we are a "Constitutional Representative Republic"....Just saying! Just so you know ahead of time I am also a staunch beleiver in the 2nd Amendment, but as there are many who are, not I respect yoru right to not beleive in it, just as long as you do the same for my right...OK.
