Chicago Mayoral Candidate, Gery Chico, "Willing to Entertain" a Racist, Segregationist Policy Gery Chico is one of the 6 candidates on the ballot seeking to be elected to serve as the 55th Mayor of Chicago. Chico has the support of the Chicago Firefighters Union and the Fraternal Order of Police. Both groups have long rallied for abolishing the city's residency requirement for city employees.
