I am a Zimbabwean journalist and educationist based in London, England.
Upon finishing my BA in Communications & Journalism in 1996 I became a lecturer, then Head of an American College of Mass Communications in Harare.
I also worked with World Bank Institute as a freelancer coordinating journalism training programmes for practising African journalists. I am privileged to have worked with brave, experienced and inspiring journalists from across the continent, developing an information landscape that put ordinary people on the news agenda.
I also contributed to both radio and television current affairs programmes specialising in politics and human rights.
My strong views on democracy, freedom of the press and human rights got me into trouble with Robert Mugabe's regime resulting in me fleeing the country in February 2001. Since then I have worked as educationist in Further Education in London, and have also achieved a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.
