Book Review "House of War" by James Carroll A book review of James Carroll's "House of War" which is a history of the Pentagon since its inception in 1943. The book relates the policies and relationships of the Secretary of Defenses, the Presidents, the generals, and the advisors. TIts major thesis is that the Pentagon has become a immensely powerful force in propogating war and paranoia, Caroll believes that the Pentagon has been wrong nearly every time.
