Progressive social activist. I believe in a government of, for, and by the People, not corporations!

I believe that every citizen—without regard for the color of their skin, their gender, their ancestral origin, their religion or their lack thereof, and without regard to whether one is poor, and/or gay—should have the same unassailable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as the wealthy and the straight. An individual's pursuit of happiness should be governed not by the will of the majority, but by the dictates of one's own conscience. That's the very foundation of individual freedom!

I believe that a well-rounded education is the best means for every individual, no matter their social or financial circumstance, to pursue the greatest degree of life, liberty, and happiness. The greater the breadth of knowledge one has, the greater is his potential to make correct decisions, and the better off is society at large.

I believe that education and health are rights, and not privileges only for those who can afford them. It holds that neither an adult’s, nor a child’s health, should ever be deemed a marketable commodity—a thing from which to profit, and the individual to be discarded with no more regard than one would have for chaff in the wind if a profit cannot be made.

I believe that each individual is not born with the same abilities as everyone else, and thus, success is not a measure of the wealth one accumulates, or the winning of a Nobel prize, but true success lies in the attainment of one’s highest potential—and society has an obligation to cultivate that potential in everyone.

I believe that every individual should be encouraged to achieve his or her highest potential. If they haven’t the financial means, then society should provide it, because a well-educated society of healthy, achieving individuals, striving for their highest potential, is a harmonious society, and the very definition of a just society.
